my favourite thing about the birds video is the initial backlash against people not particularly liking all these 'god' references in the album saying oh it might not mean that much big bright red signage in your face JESUS GOD IS LOVE edited to add, on the whole mx debut songs being better than final edits by prospekt46: tbh those two songs are some of the better on the album, i'd be more interested in hearing paradise and princess of china getting those treatments to make a real judgement

Nah, that can be a thing. I personally find mindfulness devilishly hard with how my mind works, so still avoiding some things and just being positive to yourself is certainly something I do to supplement that issue.

I don't quite understand why people are mad about vetoed questions? What, do you think questions wouldn't have been vetoed a few years ago when you had Chris with an incident where he stormed out mid-interview? Or even without that... I think Thalia's choice to not ask the winning question was fair given that most people would have wanted to hear the answer from Chris the most as well. It gave me decent insight into some new things even if I wasn't super keen on the new album

The thing is I don't think that's necessarily true either... there were different examples of rock between AROBTTH and X&Y. That sort of implies it's a shallow genre in terms of doing different things, it's not really. I finally listened to the album today and it's okay in the first half but just fizzles out by the latter half. I think I have to agree with the poster that said Coldplay aren't really that great at doing pop, at least for the length of an entire album :/ maybe an EP, sure. I am also finding it really awkward that I'm finding more meaning in the lyrics of J-idol songs which are really damn manufactured...
