Yeah sounds like she mad at you for something else. Or her emotions are chaotic. You're really trying with her and putting effort into the friendship. Maybe she just took it very offensively without realising twas a joke.

My playcount doesn't really count, as for some reason on this laptop I'm missing Amsterdam, almost all of VLV, Prospekt's March and the old B-sides (which I played lots). I do recall Don't Panic having something like over 300 plays though. The AROBTTH songs were ranked pretty high because I fell asleep listening to them once. Oops.

I gave ETIAW a 1 for effort. For Paradise, I gave a 2.5 (rounded up to 3). The melody base is okay. The lyrics for me really drag it down. For Coldplay, I think this song is pretty poor. This is coming from someone who manages to only call some filler songs "weak". However, it's not overly terrible either. I can imagine myself at least not making fun of it while drunk, in fact probably earnestly bobbing along and having a bit of a guilty singalong. Tolerable, not terribad, but not too good either.

Coldplay have been mainstream for a while, I think you're missing the points in some posts a bit.
