Bon Iver
yeah looking back now i would have to say Skinny Love was my fave song of 08 next to Kids by MGMT. the footage of him on youtube doing the song live on stage is really moving, he puts alot of emotion into every performance.

Pearl Jam
in sydney this november they are doing one night only at a football stadium. so im hoping they play at least 30 songs, which is pretty regular for pearl jam. then again it is quality over quantity.

Big Day Out 2010
yeah its not too bad hey, but i really really loved what they did with the logo last time. it was more rock n roll. i guess this one reflects lily's "post retirement" appearance at the festival.

for our international friends bogan=redneck=scouser BDO = Bogan's Day Out

Big Day Out 2010
i just prefer the atmosphere of those smaller festivals. i know they're very hippie and indie or whatever. but i would take that anyday over the drunk bogan fuelled day BDO seems like. and now those smallers fests are churning out incredible line ups, i think my hard earned money will be going towards those instead of BDO.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
^^ the final two/three performances have always been from international acts. maybe they've gone against tradition and put an aussie band up there. im sure muse fans wouldnt mind a bit of the 'Finger

Pearl Jam
^^ are there any other bands who are like PJ and do play upto 80 different songs on tour.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
yeah it will be my first and last big day out. the line ups get shitter and shitter every year. the second headliner on the line up is lily allen. so im looking forward to their sideshows alot more.

Big Day Out 2010
the good stuff is lower down the line up. temper trap, tame impala, the horrors, lisa mitchell and midnight juggernauts. big day out simply cannot compete with the other big summer festivals, falls fest, soundwave, v fest, homebake and pyramid rock.

Radiohead
where are all the posts dissapearing too?

Pearl Jam
i would hate it if they didnt play Black. Immortality and Dissident are the other two i would really really love to see live.

Big Day Out 2010
line up to be released in 9hours! i've got the feeling this one will be almost as good as 2007 which included tool the killers and muse back to back.

post non-coldplay songs that make you cry
not because its sad but because of how beautiful it is.

Pearl Jam
^^ why is it that every article i've read about eddie and pearl jam there has been some focus on how eddie is still 'alive' and kurt is dead. just going by the footage of the two frontman from that early 90s period they seemed like two totally different personalities. i dunno i just dont really like the constant comparisons.

Vampire Weekend
i wouldnt be surprised if we get a super early leak of this album. its been completed for such a long time its bound to get out early. we'll just have to wait and see.

LCD Soundsystem
*EPIC BUMP* wow not much interest for the band in here hey. their previous album Sound of Silver is one of my faves of all time. they're not far off releasing their next masterpiece either. there were rumours of a split but that was nothing. james murphy has called this "the album that would of been album of the decade had it been released in 2009" soo im guessing we should expect something from them in the first few months of 2010. potential tracks Why Do You Hate Music Love in LA

Bon Iver
latest on the Bon Iver front justin and the band have finally finished the support of the brilliant album For Emma Forever Ago. he now plans on going on some sort of a hiatus. no idea of how long it will be or what other projects he will involve himself in while away from Bon Iver. but dont expect any album in 2010. For Emma was a special sort of album, the kind you really only write once in your life. i guess justin needs to find himself a new inspiration.
