Robbie Williams...
even though i havent enjoyed anything he has done in the last 5years i would still classify him as one of my "guilty pleasures". still enjoy putting on his greatest hits cd.
-
Radiohead
that would be very interesting indeed. even though im not an Oasis fan i think Noel would win at least in the UK.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
kudos to Muse if they are successfully able to keep this record under wraps for another week. cant think of many big albums this year that weren't leaked over a week before official release.

Music You've Just "Discovered"
whats with the funny typing? i was just about to comment on the impossibility of them touring australia until i read this on wikipedia. On September 3, posters appeared around the streets of Melbourne, Australia featuring the line "FOLLOW WHAT'S HEARD"[13], a picture of a Vulture, and the URL http://www.frontiertouring.com/followwhatsheard. The URL leads to a page showing the same Vulture and a countdown timer, leading many to speculate an Australian tour announcement is imminent.

Unnatural selection is the only track that sounds appealing to me from that review. hope this album surprises me.

Radiohead
ok im getting really confused here. did the bbc broadcast both reading and leeds? or are those videos just wrongly titled?
-
Arctic Monkeys!
AM seem to have something against festivals. their gig at glasto 07 was embarassing and now people are angry with their reading and leeds performance. but i've never seen them live either so cant say too much.

hmmm havent tried Humbug in the morning. my lifestyle doesnt quite accomodate for morning activities so i'll have to make an exception.

*Any JAY-Z fans???*
the man has made alot of great hits. most durable rap artist of all time. which isnt that hard to be, 5years is a pretty good effort.

The Hard Rock thread: If there's a soft rock, there's a HARD ROCK.
if they did a good job of it maybe. but i became a fan when i was hardly 11. alot has changed since.

The Hard Rock thread: If there's a soft rock, there's a HARD ROCK.
Linkin park was my outright favourite band of all time.................until minutes to midnight came out EPIC FAIL. i almost have no interest in the band now. the only hard rock-ish song they have would be A Place For My Head

*Any JAY-Z fans???*
i will listen to it this weekend. dont expect much. he is past his best.
-
Arctic Monkeys!
yeah most of us would agree with you. its really only the hardcore biased fans who think this is the better thing they've ever done.

Radiohead
hey did the bbc record the reading performance or leeds? cos whereever i look on youtube it all says Leeds but they didnt do Creep at leeds.............. was having a look at atease and they've been very critical of thom's vocal performance at reading, people were saying he turned the show into some pop punk gig. someone raised the very interesting point that radiohead had become "critic proof". do we agree? they didnt actually do a never heard before song did they? NME was talking crap. some other music sites were saying they played something new after these are my twisted words. can anybody confirm?
