The Hard Rock thread: If there's a soft rock, there's a HARD ROCK.
one of my favourite Aussie bands. these guys are more prog rock than pure hard rock but close enough. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmo-I9wBmjM]YouTube - Cog - Bird Of Feather[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T01Q7dXZEWs]YouTube - COG - What If (Official Video)[/ame]

yeah i remember the fan boards went into meltdown on the night of indija gig. there were rumours that john had stormed off stage mid way through the gig in anger then that turned to he had a migraine or something. in the end i think it turned out that they were simply exhausted after a long tiring world tour. they said that when they turned up at the site it remined them too much of Woodstock 99 which turned into chaos. apparently nobody had told them they would be performing in the middle of no where in front of 100 000. that milan show you went to. was that the one where they did fortune faded funky monks and sir psycho sexy? or was that the night after. and the berlin show you went to looks like the one where they just jammed for 30mins at the end. you've been lucky enough to go to some of their best shows lol.

Radiohead
i've most probably said this about a million times but i'll happily say it again. In Rainbows changed my taste in music forever. i still think that if i hadn't heard that album on 8th October 2007 i would still be in love with stupid top 40 crap. I became a true music fan that night.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
they are the best live band in the world at the moment. and if you called them the greatest of all time you wouldnt be too far off. buy, watch and listen to as much live footage as you can cos thats how i got to love them. most fans would tell you the albums are awesome too but nothing on what they sound like on stage. they just take it to another level. new album is going to be intersting. it will go to no.1 everywhere except the US.

Noel Gallagher quits Oasis
im pretty devastated that this has happened. i would never call myself an Oasis fan but definintely maybe is easily one of my favourite albums of all time. top 20 at least. with most other bands this would be shocking news but with Oasis its not as surprising. will most probably see them back in action in 5 or 6years but hopefully earlier. Noel can hate liam all he likes but he can never hate the millions the name Oasis makes for him and the fame it has brought him. TO HELL WITH MAN CITY :laugh3: too soon? sorry
