^^ digipak boo?? why do you like the jewel cases? they crack and break after two weeks and i've always hated the look of them. looks way way cooler in digipaks kind of a throwback to the other vinyl sleeves. i got the album today also havent put it in yet. the folks are out so i might throw it on the sound system and forget about the 4 assignments due monday i havent started. apparently JB had it in on thursday!

i've picked the perfect time to become obsessed with the beatles. i've spent the last month or so listening to their albums very very intently and loving every second. i've only listened to the first 5 albums multiple times and the rest once over but i'm sure i'll have the rest covered by the time these remasters come out. if Revolver sounds insanely awesome right now i cant even begin to imagine what they will sound like re-remastered. but maybe their rawness made some wonderful i guess we'll find out. beatles fans should check out Ultimate Bootleg Experience website. they have shitloads of beatles outtakes demos b-sides live recordings etc etc.

from what i hear BBC3 will be broadcasting the highlights of reading festival from about 10-45pm. cant wait to see the boys in action there were only a handful of pro-shots from their last tour or are we still considering this as part of the in rainbows tour.

well i dont skip any songs when im listening to their albums. just i dont enjoy FWN as much as i used to.

how can people skip songs on Whatever people Say.. that album is brilliant from start to finish. but i dont listen to FWN that often nowadays kinda got over it after a while. i can see myself enjoying Humbug for many many years.

so far i can only find morons putting up fakes on youtube. i tried torrents but no luck there either. it isnt on the japanese version of the album either. but you can hear a preview of it on itunes which i guess means you can download it once the album comes out officially.

i have never quite understood why japanese versions of albums always have all these awesome extras and stuff. why not just make that available to everyone? if there's a valid reason i would love to know.

^^ well im guessing it will involves tens of thousands of people coming to the town which isnt really used to that sort of attention. every major event and festival has to get council approval for everything. like recently the reading fest got permission to increase its capacity from 80 000 to 86 000. just how things work i guess.

time for complaint-about-radiohead-not-coming-down-under no.47 5yrs people!! 5yrs!! and to make matters worse they cancelled several shows on their 2004 tour! i know its a 24hr trip and thom will claim its the same as driving a car from here to neptune or something but cmon!

i think red right hand is an amazing song and AM doing a fairly decent job of it. i like it how they challenge themselves and do songs completely out of their lieu. i know the british media has done their best to label these guys as pop rock stars but their talent and genuine passion for music will always override that.

has anyone watched/recorded the Max Masters doco on the band? i think it premiered last week some time. i watched it and though it was ok. there seemed to be a massive emphasis on the band's videos.
