i've been listening to Help! all week. such an excellent record hardly a weak song on it.

i love the feeling of putting a cd in and pressing play and enjoying it. my cd player even makes a little rewinding noise when it reaches the end which is always nice touch at the end. i cant afford to buy every cd i want to listen to so i do resort to downloading illegally. but more often than not i end up buying an album physically if i enjoy it enough. i also love the look of all my albums in my cd holder. looks far better than cover flow on itunes.

wow they dont hit the stage until 10-45! that must mean they will come off well after midnight. i guess you guys dont have the same curfews as we do here in sydney.

this is for the aussies here. out of the people who like the presets and cut copy (if there are any out there) which band do you prefer?? i can only really compare apocolypso and in ghost colours. last year i enjoyed apocolypso alot more than in ghost colours. but now 8 months into 09 i prefer listening to in ghost colours. the album has aged much better than the presets one.

i think its a fitting tribute. all the lyrics are quotes from Harry Patch himself. the way thom sings really suits the song, as its in memory of someone who has passed away. Jonny's composition is just perfect. plus i dont think they intended this to become a hit single or something.

^^ yeah im starting to feel the same way. but muse can do better than this. i know it! i hope they do the uprising at the VMA's then go into some crazy jam (SS live style) and scare away those hip-hop-loving-mtv losers.

triple j? or is every radio station in australia claiming to have played it second. aside from triple j i've never heard a muse song on any other station in australia. at least not on the ones we get here in sydney.

best news i have heard in a LONG LONG TIME! the new album will most probably be pretty average but i dont care. they have enough great music to put on the best show on earth.

mate you gotta admit. the CD single died 5 years ago. its taken its place along side the cassette and Eminem.

i miss the prog rock muse. i'm starting to realise that as much as i love muse, i really only enjoy one aspect of the band and that is their guitar driven work and the stuff that is a little proggy.

yeah that gig was broadcast on tv. i caught snippets of it and it wasnt too bad. dissapointed they didnt broadcast The Scare, they are one of my favourite young bands at the moment.

A Certain Romance is easily one of my favourite songs of all time. When The Sun Goes Down is the song that made me an AM fan cos i didnt like Dancefloor that much. Mardy Bum is another favourite of mine for reasons i'll keep to myself. they are the only band in my top 10 who have released less than 4 albums.

i was watching a jay-z concert on youtube the other night and i surprised at how many songs i knew even though im not exactly a fan. he is easily one of the best rappers ever and he has been pretty consistent for over a decade now whereas most of those rappers from the 90s have either gone all pop (Eminem) or dissapeared all together.

Humbug in one word. Subtle.
