i need to listen to the horrors album again. it didnt hit me the first couple of times. but i've heard alot of good things about it.

i really hope you're not talking about sigur ros there. i listened to the beatles' revolver last night. i've listened to it many times before but last night was the first time i had listened to it carefully and wow it is beautiful. cant wait to get my hands on the remastered version of it! i would most probably put it amongst my top 10 albums of all time.

my personal choice would be either Bat for Lashes or Friendly Fires. cant believe kasabian got a nomination.

just heard the album on the radio played in full. the reaction has been fairly positive. i think 90% of the people who texted in with their opionion were very impressed by it. i listened to it a couple of more times this morning and i've come to the conclusion that it's an excellent album. 8.5/10 :) just to put things into perspective Whatever People say.... 9.5/10 FWN 8/10 Humbug 8.5/10

i never thought i would see those numbers for the 100m ever! 9.58 is just insane. i dont think the world record has been beaten by that much in history. usually it goes down 0.01s at a time. this was by 0.11!!

i dont feel dissapointed at all. it's better than nothing. i'm glad they confirmed this. now i can start hearing this on the radio and see what the general music public think of it.

has anybody heard These are my Twisted Words on the radio yet? just had a discussion with the music director of the radio station here and he said that they couldnt verify 100% that it is radiohead so therefore they cant play it.

WTF

i've never seen the music press jump on mere rumours like they have with this. they seem very adamant about it, theyre usually afraid that it might blow up in their face. i guess we'll all find about in 48hrs or so. but really it could be anything. personally i'm looking foward to their headlining performance at Reading fest alot more.

yay i get to make a powerpoint presentation in my information system subject at uni. we can do it on whatever we like and of course i'm doing radiohead. filled with weirdy and wacky pics of thom haha.

i've got the feeling that we're all getting our hopes up over nothing. but in the end there will be something, if it doesnt come monday it might be next month or early next year. it's just good to know that the band is working hard on awesome new music. would people say that These Are My Twisted Words is a new direction for the band? or does it feel like they are just recycling and mashing up some of their old sounds??

such an exciting time to be a radiohead fan! i love it how after 17years they still keep their fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation of new music. Just like Mrs Martin said at the grammys "they never went wrong"

ok i think we've dished out enough shit. just most of us here prefer to keep it to one thread to each band. but i guess muse are popular enough for two threads. radiohead always have 2 or 3 going so its only fair.
