I think I'd prefer if their full lenght video (the violet hill one) had been done in the same way as this commercial clip, this is one commercial that I wouldn't mind watching over and over again lol But I'm not saying that the official video is bad, only that this might be better, a little more effects and energy.

I hear where you're coming from, altough I like this new path they're taking, I think I'd prefer it if they used more guitar, drums, and generally a cleaner, simpler sound.

Well, it's hard to say what exactly it's about, I guess everyone can interpret it their own way, Coldplay likes to write in metaphores. My guess is they talk about life, thinking that you're in control when you actually aren't, that sort of stuff. After all, the songs title is ''Long Live Life'' ;)

It's just so different from Violet Hill. And from A Spell A Rebel Yell aswell. I think the new album will have something for everyone, if every song remains completely different from the other, as it was the case so far. Right now, I still like VH best, but Viva la Vida is brilliant in its own way.
