Well, after the first 2 listens, this is my least favorite song on the album. :\ I think Chris's voice is way too deep, and the song too dark in general, but that's just half of the problem, the part I dislike the most is the oriental violin (is it a violin?) sound. That oriental touch isn't neccesarily bad, but I don't think it works with this song. But, who knows, maybe my opinion'll change, but this is what I think of it now.

The only song on the album that gave me shivers listening to it first time. It's awesome! The way it turns 3 times, it's amazing, it's like 3 songs unified. A work of art

Haha tell me about it. I actually downloaded it, and burned it on a CD, and was going out to play it in the car, but in the last moment I threw it in a dumpster next to the car lol. That's as close as one can get... I seriously think I'll crack soon, the wait is too much

Just a question,where can I find a picture with the VIVA logo, just like the one on coldplay's site? http://www.coldplay.com/site.php I'm not reffering to the album cover, but the middle part, where the background to the letters is red, except for the 2nd letter, which has a black background.

Yeah, well, a band like Coldplay is bound to get lots of bad critics for 2 reasons: 1) They're so famous that almost everyone knows about them, and everyone doesn't have the same taste in music 2) Critics earn a living from their columns, and the more controversal they write, the more people will read it, their words will be debated over and over again, and as a result, their job is secured. I think it absolutely doesn't matter what critics write, it's always interesting to hear anothers thoughts, but that certainly won't change your opinion, and that's the only opinion that counts. It sometimes gets frustrating when a critic writes stuff that border with idiotism, but then all you can do is laugh and turn the other page.

The entire album streaming on Myspace on friday? I bet the Myspace server will fall :laugh3:

Eh, I just have to say that you people that actually have a chance on going to the concert are really lucky. I doubt they'll ever include a show in Croatia for their tour :( That would be like a dream come true.

It's getting harder as time passes, but it will all make up for it when we listen to it a week from now :D The waiting part is almost as exciting as listening to the album, because you don't know what to expect yet. I mean, you know that it's gonna be brilliant, but the thought that there's 45 minutes of brilliance just waiting for you somewhere in near future is very exciting

Yeah I know, I'd buy the album anyway, doesn't matter if I download it, but it's more like a personal thing, I'd feel more satisfied if I bought it and listened, than downloaded it now. It's just my feeling though, I don't blame anyone for downloading it, and I'd like to hear some opinions of you who heard it.

Opinions about the new album thread Ok, to sum up all threads saying you like it or not, how about a unified one. What are your impressions of the new album (for those who heard it ofcourse)?

I just know that it'll be a whole better expirience to actually hold the bought cd and listen to it when I buy it, especially now that I know it's leaked. But trying to resist clicking the download button is really really hard lol I'll probably end up clicking it... but then I move to phase two, prevent myself from listening... man, this is gonna be tough.

I'll try to break this down in 2 steps: 1) must resist downloading 2) must resist listening to what I downloaded :P Hopefully I'll manage to stop somewhere along the way, hehe
