Could one or two of those songs be alternative titles for songs on the album that were changed before the release? Snow covered window... Violet Hill? Death Will Never Conquer... Death & All His Friends? Just a thought. Probably a stupid one!

Can't argue with his contribution, but let's face it, we've been spoilt by Mr Buckland's talents in the past (my fave track is In My Place because of that guitar part) I really feel that everyone gets to shine on this album, but as I said, save my kudos for Guy & Will

Love this track!!! I was really looking forward to hearing it after reading all the buzz on here and it didn't disappoint. Sorry to open up an old question, but who's is that voice at the beginning. I know someone on another thread said it's Eno - but is that the definitive answer? Sounds like Guy to me...

I've read two different spellings "Lunar" and "Luna" It didn't make the final cut because it was apparently "too sexy" Jo Wiley asked if it was possible for Kylie to be anything other than sexy, and Chris joked "Well if there's a band that can take away the sexiness of Kylie, it's us"

It's true that they all seem to be at the top of their game - and I see what Chris said in one of their interviews about Will, Guy & Jonny all coming to the fore with this album. But it's a poll, so if you have to pick one, who are you going for?

In afternoon registration I put Strawberry Swing on and six of my kids immediately started clapping along!!!

Will came across really well on the radio yesterday too - both on the Radio 1 show (he seemed really touched by Jamie's comments), and on the mess that was Radio 4. I did laugh when Jo suggested he might regret that tattoo - he took it in good spirits!

For me it was a tie between Will & Guy - this album belongs to the rhythm section and it's about time they got some recognition. In the end I voted for Guy - I'm not a bass player so I can't make any fancy arguments in his defence, but I think some of the criticism of him was totally unnecessary.

I ordered mine from the Coldplay website and it hasn't come yet :( Thankfully I pre-ordered it from I-Tunes to, so I can listen to it, I just don't have one in my grubby little paws yet...

There's not a duff one on there - and that's the first time I've said that about a Coldplay album. My least favourite is Reign of Love - it's a great song, but it's not grabbed me like most of the others have. Current favourites (though it changes with every listen) are Lost and Strawberry Swing

So the backlash starts on day 1 of the new album - a new record! Just turned on the TV at the end of a bit about Coldplay on GMTV - did anyone catch it? Some Welsh guy was talking to Penny Smith about them in a rather light-hearted fashion (probably laughing at them) Do we know yet if they showed up for Jonathan Ross?
