GarbageOffice…I totally agree. I listened to it once and never need to listen to it again. I may edit it out of the album when it comes out next month. I get it that people that enjoy sickening sweet pop music may like this but it’s not what I want to hear from Coldplay. If I want to hear Britney Spears or BTS, I’ll toss them on but if I wanna hear Coldplay, this isn’t what I’m looking for.

While i am against police brutality. I kinda find that the audio distracts me from the song. Is there a version that doesn’t include that audio. I also have 5 yr olds that don’t need to hear it.

My problem with the album is that I find myself not singing with it at all. These songs are just not interesting. When many think the bonus songs are the best ones and they compare them favorably to other bsides. Thats not saying much. Listening to VLV i realized that there isnt one song on ghost story that i prefer over any of the VLV songs. I actually have to force myself to play the new album out of respect for coldplay.

Does Magic remind anyone else of something by Athlete? Something off of their tourist album. Haven't listened to it for a bit. Chris sings a bit like the lead singer of Athlete at the beginning when he says "true" and "you". Good song though. Gets stuck in your head.

What Coldplay songs really have been hits on the radio(in the US)? Yellow, Clocks, In My Place, Fix You, Speed of Sound, Viva la Vida. I might have heard Every Teardrop and Paradise 3-4 times each max. I think what Mylo Xyloto is missing is that A level song. All the other albums had them. This one just has a bunch of B level songs at best.

Why do they continue to push Up in Flames. It could be my least favorite Coldplay song of all time. Its just so mediocre and forgettable. If they need another song from this album put on Up with the Birds or U.F.O. But even them I don't need to see in concert.

I heard Rainy Day over the weekend, at a Sears(very weird), and thought to myself, "this is better than 90% of the MX album." The songs are just not up to the A level songs we expect from them. They seem like b-sides, aside from Charlie Brown (which lacks a great chorus, not that I think it should have one).

I've given it 5 months and I just can't really love the album. It has some good songs, it has some okay songs, and then Up in Flames which is the one I always skip. I don't really care about what style they are going for, what we need is some GREAT songs. This album is missing them. I'll pop in Viva or XY and I am totally envigorated style. MX is my only cd in my one car and I throw it in when nothing else is on the radio. Its just fine. And that performance was so underwhelming.

Does the x stage come further out than the Viva la vida stage setup? It just seemed odd that no seats were being bootlegged in those first sections.

I was just checking the stubhub site for the Philly dates and there appears to be no tickets available for the first 3 floor sections and the middle section in the second area on the floor. It just seems odd that none would be available for both days. I was thinking maybe its b/c the stage will come out further. Anyone else find that to be true at any of the other dates?

I think I would be enjoying this album more if I didn't know the majority of the songs. Anybody else feel that way? I'm most enjoying Don't Let It Break Your Heart and Up with the Birds, b/c they're fresh. The albums good, I just think I'd enjoy it more if I went into it fresh...I know that is mostly my fault.

I was at the concert in Philly where they played the Dubliner and it was a fun song. And I thought Chris said it was going to be on the forthcoming EP. Unfortunately it didn't end up on Prospekt's March when it came out 4 months later.

This screams of bside material. Sounds like the vocals are being played through a crappy clock radio speaker and the instrumentals are being played through a proper speaker.

This would have fit well on Prospekt's March. It's a fine song on par with Glass of Water. Not a first single...I hope.

I agree I prefer the indoor show. The crowd was really lame last night. I was in the 100 section, right by stage b and nobody was really singing or moving around. You pit people could give me a better description but it didn't even look like a lot of the pit was moving around. The band was fantastic and I enjoyed them as much as usual, but the crowd just zapped all my energy. I also saw the Killers at camden a couple weeks ago and they were much more energized.

I got two extra tickets in section 100 Row BB if anyone needs them. It might be a good insurance policy for you guys in the lawn. Hopefully the rain stays away, but it doesn't look good.

I have 2 extra tickets for the Camden Show tomorrow. THey are section 100 row BB. I'm willing to sell them for $180. About $100 less than I paid for them. Let me know if anyone is interested. Especially if you have lawn seats, it might rain, this might be a good insurance policy.

I was just nosing around on the livenation site and saw that orchestra section tickets are going for $97. Any ideas on this? Is it because they're only offering no more than 1 seat together? I was a little surprised at the $113 price tag for section 100. I think $97 was the top price for the two concerts in PHilly last year. I'm especially mad b/c I'm stuck with row BB(very last row of section 100) for $113 a piece. I sent livenation an email to see if there might be a pricing error. We'll see.
