  1. Well, who'd blame you? After all, you went for a walk with your parents and they ended up getting killed.
  2. And why are you referring to those specific dates?
  3. So in the article on the website "persistent and perhaps, hopeful rumours of new Coldplay material this week" are mentioned. Can anyone fill me in on those rumours, as I seemed to have missed them?
  4. Brunssum, Netherlands A Rush of Blood To The Head
  5. If this turns out to be true I'm going to be so mad at the Pinkpop organisation for not getting Coldplay as one of their headlining acts.
  6. Don't forget Ink. The most commonly used color of ink is blue, whether that being tattoo ink or regular ink used in ballpoints and such.
  7. What about country? I heard guys like Kenny Chesney are pretty big in the US of A
  8. I'd say wait a little and until they start popping up at respected sellers on Discogs, because these two indeed look to be printed from a home printer
  9. Hi there! I'm trying to figure out the tabs for Jonny's solo in True Love, but my sense of playing music by ear is rubbish. So can anyone help me out?
  10. I feel for you bro, I've got the same problem with physical releases. Instead of having a proper CD of every single of an era in my CD cabinet, I now only can order an album. A real shame
  11. Well, thank you for the compliment! While ASFOS is dominating the iTunes charts, I haven't heard it on 3FM (one of our biggest radio stations) yet, did anyone else notice this in their country as well or is it just a Dutch thing?
  12. It reminded me of Daft Punk's Random Access Memories. Not the musical style, but the way they collaborate. On Random Access Memories each track was clearly a Daft Punk song, but it also was a (for instance) Panda Bear or Julian Casablancas song. They'd fit in both their individual catalogues and that's also the case with ASFOS. It is obviously very Coldplay (the paino, the buildup, the guitar) but it's also very Avicii (the distinctive Synth sound and added layers), so It's perfect as a Coldplay song but also perfect as an Avicii song, unlike your average "ft." track with 20 seconds of some other perfomer.
  13. Yes! At least according to this guy: https://twitter.com/GeorgErgatoudis/status/460834793458909184. And considering he's the head of music at BBC Radio 1, I think it's safe to assume it will happen tonight.
  14. Well, that's also thanks to Avicii. I'm not too fond of his music but it certainly doesn't hurt your ears whether you play it loud or toned down. Also: Just 6 hours and 19 minutes left until Zane Lowe will play ASFOS!
  15. Wow, I think you might be on to something here! I really hope you're right, because I'm dying to hear the studio version of Another's Arms
  16. How is that even possible? Those tickets are tied to the buyer. Everyone had to provide personal information and upon entering E-Werk you were going to be asked to show your ID. No matching credentials on your ID and ticket -> No entry.
  17. Good luck everyone, but not too much because I want to get some tickets myself as wel ;)
  18. Exactly. For this I don't even mind going alone and driving to Cologne (about an hour and a half drive from my home in The Netherlands) and back if that's what it takes to get such a unique chance
  19. Well, I guess they're doing this for two reasons 1) To keep te average joe out during and make sure only dedicated fans show up 2) To break even. E-Werk has capacity of just 2000 people. 2000 * 90 = 180.000. A regular concert has about 60.000 visitors who pay about 60 euro's per ticket. That's 3.6 million ponds. So they're already sacrificing 3.420.000 to keep the concert intimate. Then there's the wages for the roadies and technicians and the costs for travel and accommodation. So yeah, 88,90 is a lot of money but they're practically doing the show for free already. I'm sure once a big Ghost Stories tour (or a followup album tour if the rumours about a new album next year are true) starts, prices will drop to the regular 50-60 euro region.
  20. The number of songs has EVERYTHING to do with quality. Why should the band put more songs in the album if they think the quality isn't good enough or they don't fit with the album? I'd rather have an album with 9 good songs and 3 (possible) mediocre bonus tracks than an album with 15 or 16 songs of which half is utter shit.
  21. Nope, just nope. According to the E-Werk website the Cologne tickets will be €88,90 (That's 122,85 in Amercan Dollars, if anyone from the US was wondering)
  22. Any idea how much the Cologne tickets will go for? I don't have a proper creditcard so I'll have to buy a prepaid one and I don't want to be short on cash, ya know! Would be a shame to miss out on such an intimate gig because of a technicality like that. Edit: I also wonder what their setlist may look like. A full on back to back performance of Ghost Stories, or more something like the iTunes festival? I hope the first but I wouldn't be disappointed with the latter.
