Yes. That's the whole point of it. It's not only a showcase for Coldplay to play some new songs, it's a marketing trick for Tidal to get some new subscribers as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did. There's a sticker on the album that reads "Coldplay, A Head Full of Dreams. The New Album, including Adventure of a Lifetime and Hymn for the Weekend". I see no use in putting Hymn for the Weekend on there if they don't plan to release it before the album release. Plus, as you said this ties in with the new trend of releasing a single almost every week between the announcement and release of an album. By the way, since Coldplay are involved in Tidal, I wouldn't be surprised if Hymn for the Weekend were to be a Tidal exclusive single for a limited time.

The "Feat Tove Lo" only appears on iTunes, Amazon etc. The band have never mentioned it themselves on their website or their own webshop. iTunes, Amazon etc. can change their description with the click of a button, so I wouldn't be surprised if someday "Feat. Beyoncé" and "Feat. Noel Gallagher and Beyoncé" appears next to Hymn and Up&Up respectively. That being said, Chris also said that Beyoncé was like an angel on Hymn for the Weekend. That could well mean she just provided some backing vocals and didn't contribute enough to be considered a featured artist.

It's $29,99 in the US? Wow! Here in Europe, or the Netherlands at least, their standard subscription is €9,99 (about $10,75) and their HiFi subscription is €19,99 (about $21,45). That's quite a big difference!

You're absolutely right. I don't have any knowledge of India or it's culture at all, apart from the stereotypes that most people know.

I know there's a sushi restaurant in Amsterdam called Umi, but I don't think that's wat he meant. Perhaps Umi is the protagonist of the album just like that Mylo Xyloto character they came up with? Or perhaps, since Indian culture has influenced the boys, it's something Indian?

It's something the Stargate guys came up with, according to Chris. In one of the many interviews he did he described it as "woowoowaawaa" because he doesn't know which part of the vocals those guys altered to create that sample.

Tove Lo. For the simple fact that she's a featured artist on Fun and I don't want that track to end up like Princess of China where they used a pre-recorded Rihanna tape.

I'd put my money on Hymn for the Weekend if I were you. Amazon briefly had this picture as on the product page for AHFOD, so we can expect Hymn for the Weekend to be released prior to the album's release. [ATTACH=CONFIG]32870[/ATTACH]

AOAL is still #2 here in the Netherlands, but AHFOD lost it's #1 spot to Adele's 25 and dropped to #2 as well

Probably because they have nothing else to show yet. I wouldn't be surprised if the one called trees will link to the video for Hymn for the Weekend once that song is released.

Honestly, his clothes in that picture aren't bad. He looks like just about any guy who's on his way to the gym on a cold winter's day. Nothing wrong with that, assuming he was on his way to/from the gym.

So if they're playing France towards the end of May, it's safe to assume they'll visit other European countries (The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain etc.) somewhere that time as well. Either a bit before France, so early towards mid-May or early June.

I must say that was quite remarkable. I could hear the fatigue in Chris' voice during AOAL, and during Amazing Day it was completely gone and he was spot on every single note!

I must say, Adventure of a Lifetime sounded much better than it did yesterday! I'm not sure if it were the nerves or something, but Chris sounded very tired yesterday whereas at NRJ he sounded like he was full of energy.

So, what song will be the Noel one now that we know HFTW features Beyonce?
