I agree that the last three songs tend to drag the album out, but I definitely object to people saying Fix You and A Message shouldn't have been on there! WTF?? Brilliant songs!!! I would have ended the album at 'Swallowed in the sea'. It's a much better closing track.

Yeah it really depends if Coldplay get a say in what would go on a 'greatest hits' compilation. Generally the outcome's better - instead of getting just all the singles, we get some of the more uncommon tracks that the band really likes. An example of this is Oasis' 'Stop The Clocks' (Best of) - the band chose the tracklisting themselves and 1/4 of their cd was B-sides. I still think I would buy a best of just for my collection, but the idea of having a bonus disc or tracks is tantalizing!!
