Ghost Story is an excellent song, but one has also to think about the flow of the songs in a live show I would imagine. There are so many fine songs and so little time hehe Thats why I love the "request a song" idea, because we get the chance to hear some tunes that would otherwise never have made the "live cut". Im thinking the request part could even be played on the B stage so to set it a bit apart from the rest of the show. We´ll see :)

^^ What I hear is: "Out from the underground awaaaaaayyyyyyyyy with me" (underground and away are almost one word as he sings them one after the other, maybe thats why you dont hear it?) I definitely hear fearless three times, the last one a bit unclear but its there in my ears. I cant hear the together after fearless though. Cant hear the you before said we´ll go, but it may very well be there.

I actually said they would make a great couple about two months before they hooked up LOL Many are saying they are an unlikely pair, but I always saw them as having a lot in common in the way they are: they are both so down to earth, they tell it like it is and they have very positive/happy attitudes

I´d love to hear Always in my head or Another´s Arms, Ghost Stories too but there is next to zero chances they will play that...

I just noticed how the ending "that I shoot across the sky" could very well be a reference to "a sky full of stars". The woman in question is the "sky full of stars" as we already know from the song on GS. On "O fly on" he ends the album wishing that one day he can fly with love (the birds) and now finally he is "shooting across the sky" = he is together with the woman he loves and reunited with love :)

I re-listened but I hear the same as the official lyrics.

The very two last lines? I hear exactly the same as on the lyrics: "when you fly won’t you would you take me too? in this world so cruel I think you’re so cool" Or did you mean another part?

This song just keeps getting better and the better the more I hear it... And this line "holding on in the mystery" is just so good, so good :) To me it so aptly depicts two people holding on together in the mystery that is life, a mystery that both means unknown but also excitement and surprises, so it also means "even if life is full of unknowns and surprises, we´ll hold on together through it all". I feel so much in a few words every time he sings this :) I don't honestly understand the criticism about the lyrics in AHFOD. Im just seeing something totally different I guess. Im finding more favorite lyric lines in this album than any previous ones, even Viva and Mylo!

Im excited at Chris having said that they are gonna play a few songs from GS too. I had not expected that. I kinda expected they would only include ASFOS, so a pleasant surprise if they play more songs from GS

Ah thanks for the info :) I had imagined a mashup but I did not know so many songs could be fit in. It will be interesting to see what they do! And I agree with you: fix you would be the obvious closer, though I admit I´d rather hear Everglow hehe :)

Im not a Beyonce fan and am a moderate Rihanna fan, but I must say this news got me excited! It would be cool to see both songs sung live with their respective guest vocalists :) I saw Rihanna singing this in Paris and it was really a delight :)

Hmmm its 12 minutes right? So they are probably gonna play a mashup of a few songs I assume. We already know they are gonna play Hymn and Princess, I´d also expect ASFOS and Paradise. I don't know that Coldplay won't have creative control over what they will do. I cant see why not. They will probably have a lot of time and logistic constraints though, but other than that Im sure they will do their thing, and probably one of the reasons they look forward to this: an unique opportunity for them to put up a show in a way they´ve never done before. And as for not pleasing the hard-core coldplay fan base, I disagree. I , and Im sure many others, are plenty pleased by their live shows hehe And I think this will be a mini version of what they already do in the stadiums: lots of colours, lots of energy with the addition of a few guests. If it will be like this, it will surely be something I look forward to see! That said Im not familiar with halftime shows in general, so not sure exactly what to expect.

They WILL play Birds...no doubt about it. I cant wait to see the setlist for the new shows. :)

I'm thinking whenever this work period is over for me (Jesus one day it will be lol) I have this semi fantasy/plan of traveling just me, my el guitar and connect with local musicians as I go, play any small pub or bar or venue who will have me, playing covers and my originals, and just roam for a while like that around US and Europe. :)
