  1. In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonighhhhhhhhhhhhht! That's what's stuck in my head right now :P
  2. Aww there's still plenty of Sunday left here! And there's no way I can hate tomorrow anyway, cos of my Coldplay concert. :cheesy:
  3. The concert was amazing! I got there early and was able to squeeze myself into the front, in the pit, and it was AWESOME. Ra-Ra Riot as an opening act was fantastic, they were really crowd friendly and seemed happy to be there. Andrew Bird was also brilliant as an opener, and it was his birthday, so we all got to sing to him. Just before DCFC came on, it randomly started to rain, even though the sun was still out, which was so beautiful. Everyone turned around at one point and there was a huge and beautiful rainbow. :wacky: The rain stopped just as the lights on the stage turned on, and there were these strobe flashes and drumming noises, and everyone started to chant for Death Cab. They came on about 5 minutes after that, and went immediately into "Marching Bands of Manhattan". The rest of the concert was awesome, and Ben seemed like he was in a really good mood. The best songs were probably "I'll Follow You Into The Dark" (to be expected, obviously, but it was really beautiful. Everyone got out their lighters and cell phones and sang along, even though about 95% of the crowd was too high to remember the lyrics). "Sound of Settling" was also awesome with everyone singing along to the "bam baaas". The setlist: 1. Marching Bands of Manhattan 2. Your Heart is an Empty Room 3. The New Year 4. We Laugh Indoors 5. Crooked Teeth 6. No Sunlight 7. My Mirror Speaks 8. President of What? 9. Summer Skin 10. Grapevine Fires 11. I Will Possess Your Heart 12. I Will Follow You into the Dark 13. Little Bribes 14. Cath... 15. A Movie Script Ending 16. Soul Meets Body 17. What Sarah Said 18. Long Division 19. The Sound of Settling 20. Transatlanticism I'll be posting pics and videos once they finish uploading!
  4. ^I'm kind of excited to see him (the actor) go. Tho I just saw this on wiki: :(
  5. I'm watching POA on ABC Family right now :P
  6. I was expecting Chris, but I still freaked out when I saw him singing :laugh3: And, is it just me, or did he have the least screen time out of all the celebrities in that last recording bit?
  7. Oh, definitely  I'm trying to figure out where they'll take the puppets in SF on Monday :wideeyed: Maybe I should go hang out in the city and stalk them. :P
  8. What?! I hope that's not true, my show is on Monday :uhoh: :bigcry: I thought they said the CD would be handed out until Wembley, though.
  9. Damn, I didn't see this in time to enter :bigcry: 3 more days!!!!!!!!!! I've decided I'm taking BART to Millbrae, and then transferring to Caltrain at Millbrae, which will eventually take me to Mountain View. Does anyone know how far the Mountain View Caltrain station is from Shoreline? Is it walkable, or is there a bus/shuttle that takes you there?
  10. :stunned: That means I have less than 5 days to write a killer review. :uhoh: Do we have any more information on how the review should be written? Should it be formatted just like a generic (but good) newspaper article, or can we go crazy and write a really creative short story type thing? I need to start planning! :p
  11. I'm seeing DCFC tonight  Along with Andrew Bird and Ra-Ra Riot :wacky:
  12. Less than 4 days :surprised:
  13. One of their most beautiful songs in general. :nice:
  14. Normal? And I wanna hear that "little record"!
  15. FOUR MORE DAYS :D I have a question. I'm afraid about traffic across the bridge and stuff (I can't leave my house until about 4:30 on Monday), so do you think I should take caltrain in? And if so, what's the closest caltrain station to Berkeley? And, does anyone know if there's a caltrain station in Mountain View, and if there's a bus that runs from there straight to Shoreline? I'm getting a ride home, but I'm just worried about getting stuck in traffic on the way there.
  16. Did someone say Sufjan? :wideeyed:
  17. Happy birthday!
  18. Cute bear! And nice pictures. That's totally not how I imagined you looked, though. :uhoh:
  19. That is the most classic quote  "And that was the day I was nearly murdered by a sheep."
  20. They don't even care in my town. My friend and I saw an R movie when we were 9, and the people at the theater didn't even blink an eye. So I'll be going tomorrow, parentless! :P
  21. Wes Bentley was :bomb: in American Beauty: :wideeyed:
