  1. Anybody else getting kicked out of the live stream every few seconds? :bigcry: This is annoying! Justin.tv is the only one working at the moment tho! Jay Z Just won!
  2. Hi Antonia!! Oh no, sorry to hear you fell... And it already hurts just reading the words "fell" and "knee" in one sentence!! Hope it's all healed soon! So in a few days you can stop learning all day and actually enjoy yourself a little? I recommended "Leap Year" to a friend btw and she likes it as much as me! Beardy Matthew Goode. :wacky:
  3. Thank you! I decided on the colours first, then Atonement came into cinemas... I saw the poster and knew immediately where to put it :wacky: I was the first one to say that I want it but my colleagues and my boss already knew that I'd want it haha! So... I renovated in autumn 2007 :stunned: Time flies! Haha, X&Y! I didn't think of that! And letting your boyfriend carry the luggage with him sounds like THE best solution!!! I don't know what you define as "cool" (looking at what Joe describes as "chilly" is warm for us :laugh4:) but rainy is something I don't need a definition for. :P Looks like you'll have to go for the onion-look: multiple layers! Fingers crossed it won't rain during the concerts, I still remember Wembley. Perrine's clothes didn't dry overnight and she had to put the clammy clothes into her bag because she left the day after the concert. :\ EDIT: The pic on the shelf is from London, a friend from Germany, me and my friend Pat from London - sitting on the grass in front of the London Eye in summer... I want to go there NOW! :bigcry: Where's Cooky btw? I hope our meet-up plans for July will work!
  4. Ok, this is the "tidy" version of my bedroom when it was new  The dark furniture is on the other side of the room. I know the bright colour of the bed doesn't fit... I didn't try to win a contest with the room, just using what I had. :P Hey, you gotta see the positive aspects: Imagine it was winter and you'd have to bring warm clothes!! (that works, too btw - you just need to think carefully what to wear on each day and wear the same shoes all the time!)
  5. Joe, I have really dark furniture, too. When I renovated my bedroom I chose creme-white as the main colour for the room but painted rectangles in olive green and dark brown to sort of "frame" my bed, a shelf and 2 hooks. I took pics, I'll search for them, I don't think my description was good. :uhoh:
  6. Hey, yes, we visited a friend before who lives there and like you said George Pringle was good. So it wasn't a complete waste of petrol and money for the ticket. Yes, still lots to do. I finished removing all wallpapers in the hall (completely, with water etc). Today I removed the 2 dry layers in the living room, kitchen already done. The old tenants put a second layer over the already existing wallpaper AND painted it so I have to remove those layers first before I can remove the lowest paper layer with water. Don't know if that description makes sense - all I want to say is that I need to work on every wall twice... My mother still has problems with her hand (and isn't the youngest anymore :P) so I do most of it on my own. So you're flying with a low-budget airline? I did that many times when I went to London. It's annoying that you can't take fluids over 100ml with you... We have a drugstore where you can buy miniature edition of almost everything you need, I am their best customer  Hi Christa!! Will you celebrate at midnight? I listened to HAARP, Jay Z and all versions of LIT II that I have while working in the flat so it was bearable. Good that nobody could hear me singing
  7. Hi Joe! Thanks, I'm alright. :nice: One week ago I went to the disappointing Air concert... but here are some pics nevertheless: This is George Pringle, she's from London and was opening. Cute girl, nervous at the beginning but goooooood! I bought her self-made CD after I left the front during the concert. Pics of Air: Still a good view as the place is tiny. :) I read that at other concerts they had a screen with visuals going with the songs - we hadn't... Watching 2 guys looking like they don't want to be there got boring pretty soon. After about 4 songs they only said "Good evening"... Some of their songs have a singer, but they didn't that night. It just wasn't the same hearing the songs I love so much without the lyrics, with the guys looking bored as fuck on top. So I went to the back and my friend sat down on the stairs. My first disappointing gig. :disappointed: We weren't the only ones disappointed though. Hey Pris! No, this -for once- is not work related :) We are renovating a flat that my mother and me will rent out when it's finished! We both don't have much time so we don't make progress every day, only about once to twice a week we are working there. The tenants who lived there before left it in a mess and we decided to renew pretty much everything! New floor, wallpapers, kitchen, heaters etc...
  8. Good evening girls & Joe! Today I spent another 3 hours with removing wallpaper... it doesn't end! But then I cooked this: Pasta with Scampi in garlic-lemon juice-tomato sauce with cheese and basil on top. Mhmmmm. The moon looks great tonight, when you look closely / move your head up or down you can see the brighter round shape of the moon!
  9. BoomBox All Access with Coldplay February 10, 2010 10:01 am Latin American TV show features exclusive interview Good morning. Boomerang Latin America recently travelled to Coldplay HQ for an exclusive BoomBox All Access interview with Will, Jonny, Guy and Chris, ahead of Coldplay's Latin America tour. The band talked about their dream of owning a garden, lessons learned from watching American Pie, and writing songs that they save as if they were squirrels. The show premiered last week in Latin America, but we wanted to let you know that it will be re-shown on Friday, February 12 at 12:00 and 17:00 (local air times for Argentina and Mexico). Anchorman ___________________________ A whole lotta Coldplay-shaped puppets February 15, 2010 10:07 pm All of the puppet pictures added to the Post section Good evening. We've spent today going through all of the old pictures of the Coldplay-shaped puppets and adding them to galleries in the Post section. Click here to journey with them through Australasia, Asia, North America and Europe. Will the puppets be jetting off to Latin America? Well, let's just say we saw them reading a Spanish phrase book the other day... 20. Both the hoodie and the Worry Burn Out White Babydoll shirt are available in the UK/ European store. I just had a look because I'm still hoping that one day those Wembley posters will appear there. :disappointed:
  21. Hi and welcome to coldplaying! What you mean is the 2002-11-23 Hovet, Stockholm concert At the moment there are only the first 7 tracks available from this concert, but hopefully the other part will appear soon, too. I found an 11sec snippet called "Stockholm" but I don't know if that is it. Have a look at the thread! :)
  22. Hi Rania! Oh you chose Sleeping Sun, too.
