What a story mathieu! I would have completely freak out if I had been in that situation. But I remember I've done that for one concert (buying ticket at the venue) and the ticket tout was so aggressive with me. By chance I waited enough to buy a cheaper one that the face value. :cool: If I'm not wrong he left the band few months ago. I was a disapointed by Machu Picchu, it was so flat but Under Cover of Darkness was really really good! And yes no Taken For A Fool! It's a single and it's one of the best new song :( I saw them in a festval and they played 1h10 with the same setlist (just no break before the encore). They could have play few more song at your gig (it's not like they have only one album). Oh and Even I say a lot of negatif things about them I still had a good time. I wasn't expecting more but I'm not going to say it was fabulous if that's not what I've felt. I wasn't close to the stage (but god I had an amazing vue) and I could not see their face, so I can only judge on their attitude. And I was so surprise by Julian voice. It was really good. And god I love his voice so much. Every time I listen to it I'm in heaven :awesome: Perrine your pictures are so great, as always :)

Her last concert in Belgrade wasn't bode well unfortunately, but ending her life like this and so young ... I'm really sad and shocked

Good but not exceptional on Thursday at the Paleo Festival in Switzerland. They did their work. Very dispensable interventions from Julian who was obviously not sober. The guys are robots, no emotions, except Albert who seems more human than the others. Juicebox / Last Nite / Hard To Explain at the end was good anyway! What I have noticed at the Main Square Festival is that a lot of people can't enjoy music that doesn't make them dance. The day before Coldplay I have to endure "Jimmy eat world" before "Fleet Foxes". And what happened ? Even if people didn't know both bands they were jumping for "Jimmy Eat World" and looked depressive for "Fleet Foxes". As r25d01 said music doesn't need to be entertaining to be good.

I just read my message and it looks like I'm angry and agressive. Not actually the feeling I wanted to showed. I just wish people were more respectful for these two great band/artist. Maybe their shows wasn't adapted for a festival configuration. I probably would have laughed if I had seen him buying a toothbrush 5min before the show !

That doesn't bring back good memories for me. I really love PJ Harvey and it has completely ruined the show. People around me were respectfull and they just sat or waited and didn't bother those who wanted to see and hear the concert. I'm very grateful for that. That's what I call having respect for the artists AND the public. I would love to see your reaction if the same thing had happened when Coldplay were on stage. I didn't come to that festival just for Coldplay and I think it was the same for a lot of people. So next time just go to pee or eat if you don't like. That will be good for everyone.

3 days with a big cold and an almost sunburn on my face but it was worth it. A bit desapointed by the Coldplay show like some of you, but I still had a good time. It was nice meeting some of you even if I feel a bit stupid for being shy and not having speak more with you.
