+1000000000000 I was a 'casual' fan of them before seing them live and it change drasticly to 'hardcore' :lol: after seing them. Never seen a band so bloody happy to be there for you and so eager to share a special moment with you, to make you participate....You really feel that you're not just 'another gig' on their list. The songs takes another dimensions and thanks to Gary's funny banters, you also have a comical act :laugh3: I'll add Florence+The Machine on that list, you can really 'understand' her music after seeing her live. AMAZING!

+10000000000 Plus, you can really 'judge' a band by seeing them live. Some will disapoint you (musically speaking), some will blow your mind. A live is a good 'barometer' IMO.

I buy CDs of bands I really like and for who I know I will play in my hi-fi a lot. As for gigs, I go when I can for artists I really care about.
