No, I hate them. I signed up for a Coldplay forum just so I could take a piss and troll and talk about GOOD bands like Muse and U2. All joking aside, I can be critical of some of their pieces, but I think that makes me appreciate their better works that much more. Even from what I've seen of the band outside their music - mainly from interviews and articles - they strike me as righteous fellows with great personalities and senses of humor. I proudly love Coldplay, and not in a superficial sense. :)

Not sure if I can make the exact time, but I can certainly post some additional pics later today as well as the 10 seconds I accidentally filmed of The Lightning Strike before I realized I hit Record. :P

Looks like an awesome setlist, and it's good to see Unintended on there. I think that if I could add anything to that setlist, it would be Butterflies & Hurricanes. Otherwise looks fantastic, especially that encore.

I recall reading in a Coldplay.com interview (I think it was White Lies, but could be wrong) stating that they didn't really get much of a chance to communicate with Coldplay and merely got a thank you card. It's true that Coldplay is one of the busiest bands, and as popular as KOL may be, I'd imagine they have much more downtime.

So I met a pair of girls last night at a Snow Patrol concert who claim to have made eye contact with Chris Martin. I was green-eyed and foaming at the mouth before long. They were weird, though. And not very attractive. :smug:

Just got back. Amazing show. Stayed after and met Gary. Caught a guitar pick from a roadie but LOST IT SOMEWHERE! GRR! Pics tomorrow. Very sleepy now.

Unfortunately, I have a class at 8:00 tomorrow morning, so I'm gonna be a zombie in there. :lol: I'll do my best to sneak a camera in (I've heard they're pretty strict at this venue). I didn't even think about an autograph, though. Better bring a CD booklet. Good idea. :) Anyways, I'm starting my string of classes in a bit so I probably won't be online again until tomorrow. I'll give a review of the show, no worries (and hopefully pics too).

All right, thanks for the advice. :) It's not really the safest area to be standing outside the venue, but I'm sure it'll be okay if there's lots of people.

Does the band tend to stay after the show often? I'd love to meet them and have seen several pictures of fans with them, but I'm not sure of how frequently they do that.

No, it's tomorrow! Can't wait! :D My friend isn't able to ditch his late class, so I'm gonna do my best to save a spot earlier, even though I'm not sure I'll be able to. Whatever, even if my spot isn't the greatest, I'll be sure to have a blast!

From the sounds of things, this character will only interact with Homer and just for a brief scene, so anything Coldplay-related probably isn't a good idea. Think of what wacky ideas the show maybe doesn't already have - a French hobo, a cowardly ninja, a guy in a platypus costume, I could go on...

Well, I'm definitely not listening to Coldplay every day anymore, even though I still do listen to them often. So yeah, I suppose I can say we're in for a potentially lengthy lull. I decided to collage my butterflies after letting them sit in a bag for months, but otherwise, I'm having to find other bands to hold me over for a while.
