Today was a long and miserable day, and just when I'm about to hit the hay, I hear about this. Day suddenly became awesome. :D Granted, "finished" is different than "released". I'm excited, but just keep that in mind.

Heh, it took me years to get to this amount, and most people I know have at least 4000. As both Coldplay fans and Muse fans, we know this feeling all too well. Muse hasn't had a superb single choice since MotP. US, MKU, and all of Exo are all better than the singles chosen for The Resistance (though they'd never be singles thanks to length, except maybe MKU, but I wouldn't count on anything until LP6). Nothing confirmed as of this point, but the rumor is certainly spreading like a wildfire. But I believe it's mostly tabloids reporting it, so I wouldn't freak out yet. Also, word has it that Gaga will be performing a new single, which would be an argument against it.

I've always been about full albums. I mean, there are still a few artists in my library who I only have a single from, but for the most part, those aren't artists I'm very passionate about. Likewise, even though I don't have as many artists on my iPod as many others, I end up having lots of songs. I just hit 2500 yesterday, though stalking other people's shared iTunes on campus, that's actually very few compared to most. Then again, I'm about quality over quantity and often end up deleting stuff I've grown out of. That had nothing to do with Muse, but I thought it was an interesting point of discussion, anyway.

Umm...don't know what to think about that one. Since there's no pre-existing mash-up between the two, it could either be a huge sensation or an atrocious flop. Then again, isn't Daily Star a tabloid source? I'd seriously take this with a grain of salt as is. Comment box gave me a good facepalm, though: "I have a theory that the "Undisclosed Desires" intro was inspired my Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi", check it out!" :facepalm:

I punch a kitten every day in impatience and will continue punching a kitten every day until LP5 is released. Coldplay is in favor of animal rights, correct? If they want to save some kittens, they would be wise to release the album soon. But in all seriousness, 3 years is perfectly normal between releases. If you talk to me halfway through the year and nothing has yet happened (and I won't be surprised if nothing has), my attitude may be different.

It's odd, I was just pondering about Roadie #42 today, with his mysterious absence after the quick re-emergence. As you can tell, life is quite boring. At this point, I'd even take a blog about what Miller had for breakfast and how that symbolically relates to Coldplay's busy time in the studio. Actually, scratch that, I'm so desperate that I'd take a blog about Miller cutting his nails. Stop lowering my standards, Coldplay crew.

It's alright. I'm only familiar with her hit songs and I'm not a huge fan of them, but she has a decent voice. That said, the astonishing lack of claims that the song is ruined is either evidence that A) Coldplaying has matured, or B) It's actually a legitimately respectable cover. I'm going with B.

.mu tends to be a little more hostile than Coldplaying, but there's some great people on there tucked away in the shadows. I'm sprocketeer on there (I want to change my username but I can't think of a remotely decent alternative) but I spend most of my time in the Other Bands forum, kinda like me in WoM here. :lol:
