I know Dom occasionally will use the official Muse Twitter, but if he had his own personal account, I'm sure time-wasting hilarity would come out of it.

My Twitter account is mlr9999 I don't tweet too often, though I did try asking Chris today about footie during the Grammy visit, but alas no response.

I predict this thread will surpass the Radiohead thread in terms of posts within the next 24 hours. I can't tell whether we should blame the spammers here for making this thread so huge or blame Radiohead for taking so long with their new album and making that thread relatively quiet. :P

Downloaded the new album a few days ago. It's alright, I'd say about on-par with their original effort. "Strangers" and "Streetlights" are addictive as hell, though. I'm not a huge fan of White Lies, hence why I'm not too disappointed about missing their show here a few days ago, but their stuff is good enough to keep me interested.

As of an hour ago, yes, they are now officially sold out of EVERYTHING. And guess what? My friend wasn't able to get a pass in time. Shitballs. I may have to find different people to meet up with if she refuses to pay a scalper price. :\

Whoa snap, they just sold out of standard passes and now your only way in is with a shuttle bundle. :shocked2: Did I make the right choice to finally purchase at midnight last night or what? :stunned:

Camping and VIP selling out in record time quite honestly concerned me, so I went ahead and purchased my pass today. Hopefully my friend follows through on finding a place to stay. Gonna be my first festival! :D

Execution Commentary is what happens when you let Matt Bellamy near shrooms. They played the riff of it at one of my shows but I didn't immediately recognize it.

I think the lack of Plug In Baby in HAARP would be more forgivable if it were already on Hullabaloo. BUT IT'S NOT. :\ Blackout is totally my favorite thing on the HAARP DVD, though.

Looking forward to hearing it very much! I actually never listened to the full album of FIOE for whatever reason, but I think I probably should as a way to gear up for their new album.

Yeah, they changed the ticket policy last year so you can only buy a full 3-day pass, so I couldn't go to just one day even if I wanted to. :P As it stands, it's not 100% that I'm going since I'm currently trying to sort out lodging, but once that gets done (hopefully soon), I'm buying my pass. You guys are gonna have a great time! :awesome: If you may recall, I had to unfortunately sell my tickets for their L.A. show in October because of a schedule conflict, so fortunately I'll have another chance with Coachella. Obviously that won't be as intimate, and the other awesome bands I want to see that day will probably mean I won't be too close to the stage for Arcade Fire, but I hear festivals are a fantastic way to see them. (and people still rave over their past Coachella sets)

I...erhm...kinda liked Dom's wetsuit. :laugh3: I really wish Matt wore the LED suit stateside, though. A bunch of my friends purchased some blinky glasses and wore them to the shows. Me? I passed since didn't feel like lugging them around. (Not that it mattered in the end when one of my friends actually caught Matt's glasses and we all took turns wearing them and taking awesome pictures with them on. I really don't know how the eff Matt sees out of them.) And yeah, I'd count on Resistance for the Grammy performance. I'd definitely take it over Uprising, seeing how Uprising has been performed on TV quite a few times. (IMO they should just flip off the Grammy folks and play an extended medley consisting of Citizen Erased, Dead Star, and Fury. :awesome:)

Best live track off The Resistance by far, so I dunno why either. And looking at some of the later setlists, it doesn't seem like they found a replacement for it. Really odd. Yep. I wasn't able to get a ticket for LA1 (had tickets for Anaheim and LA2), but I think I picked the right night. :awesome: Not as few as IBTY, but not many at all.

Oh cripes, that's seriously the closest hotel still available? I know my friend was looking into hotels in the Palm Springs area because we thought that'd be far enough without being overpriced or already booked but still has a shuttle. I'd better tell my buddies to get on that quickly.

For the U.S.: CE got played at just two shows. You're definitely lucky! RBS got played at just a few shows. (My friends still mock me for how emotional I got during it.) MK Ultra got played a lot in the spring and basically disappeared in the fall (didn't get to hear it :() Unnatural Selection got played at practically every show until the last few U.S. ones, for whatever odd reason. I got it all 3 times. Bliss and Take a Bow were the other rarities. Bliss got played once (my show, yay!) and TAB only got played a few times. NSC also only got played at one show. That was also mine, but I obviously wasn't as thrilled with that one as I was with Bliss. :laugh3:

Whoa, you didn't get New Born at your show? I did notice they didn't play it at some shows this tour, though. Some people have complained because it's been slowed down, and also because Morgan does the piano intro, but it's always a reliable rocker. Bliss is five minutes of face-melting and pogo-ing. I had to go to several shows before I finally got to hear it, though. I'd love to hear The Small Print one day. Those videos I've seen with Chris's vocals are awesome.

Gonna be honest - Prague is my least favorite thing I've ever heard from Muse. :P I still need to hear B&H live. Dang thing never got played once in North America the entire Resistance tour.

Not at all. In fact, I'm pretty sure last year was the first year they've ever completely sold out, and I believe it took a while for that to happen. Though I'm not sure how long it took (and it's something I should find out since I don't plan on purchasing until I have full confidence I'm going).

I've wanted to go to Coachella for years (it's only 3 hours from me) but haven't been able to because of money or class/work schedule conflicts. Tonight I get my weekend schedule for my cinema class. If nothing conflicts on that weekend, I may very well go to Coachella at long last, especially since I finally have adequate funds and some appreciated financial support (which I really needed since they no longer sell single-day passes). Fingers crossed. Friday and Sunday definitely have acts I want to see, but the Saturday line-up looks phenomenal.

I completely forgot these guys were due for a follow-up album this year. Expectations are quite high.

This tour's been insane for them. They've been through L.A. here like 5 or 6 times since Wolfgang was released (saw them 2 of those times). So, uh, I saw a 12" vinyl single for Fences today at a small local record store and I'm wondering if I should have picked it up. I'm not a hardcore collector or anything, but the thing was only 5 dollars, and I can easily go back and get it if it's rare.
