  1. Valerie: I rehearsed it a few times beforehand. Rudy: No, not at all. I only uploaded it yesterday.
  2. I've added you both, Natt and Michael. For anyone else, my username is littlepuma17. ETA: I forgot about the timezones. The only thing I can think of is to schedule this on a weekend...? I'm taking a summer class, but I don't have class on Friday, and I'm not one to go out a lot, so I'm free any time during those days.
  3. I've never seen the first one. A bunch of my friends have, though. I'm horrified based on what they've told me. On that note, just knowing there's a sequel to this makes me feel nauseous.
  4. Awesome thread is awesome.
  5. Actually, yeah. Nice observation. HAHA, yeah, it would. Actually, I don't use an actual mic for my recordings (I use the recorder on my mp3 player for that), but yes, I do have a mic.
  6. You mean I don't suck? HOORAY. :cheesy: Oh gosh, "Citizen Erased" is so great, but it's hard to sing. I think it's mostly because of how self-conscious I am about my high register due to how low my natural voice is. Oh, and don't ask me to sing "Micro Cuts" ever. As a borderline female tenor, it's pretty much guaranteed that I will sound awful in the chorus. Anyway, the Skype thing sounds like fun. Granted, I don't have a webcam, and my Internet speed sucks (so it'll lag a little), but yeah, sounds great.
  7. You have no idea how happy I am right now. Zach Condon, you have made my day.
  8. In this case, with "Goshen" being the way it is, it is perfectly acceptable for me to use that smiley. IT'S TOO GOOD, DAMMIT. :dazzled: See? I just did it again.
  9. Rudy, it is more than OK. :dazzled:
  10. Here are two tracks from aforementioned album ^ that were released as a limited-edition single. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzORRh6lzg4]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzORRh6lzg4[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-zOBbyEDb4]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-zOBbyEDb4[/ame] I think I'm refalling in love.
  11. M5 have been one of my favorites for a long time. They were the first act I really got into when I started to listen to popular music. Oh, God, what did Tom do to his hair!? D: That's atrocious. Having said that, yes, it has a lovely classic Keane vibe to it. Thanks for sharing the vid!
  12. Hey, guys. Remember how I said I might do a cover of Muse or something and post it here? Well, after the positive feedback I received for the parody, I became inspired and decided to finally post something here. "Blackout": http://www.mediafire.com/?ipjtru6zgcu5g63 "Exogenesis": http://www.mediafire.com/?hb5uzxuirhbbwbk To clarify, by "Exogenesis," I mean the entire symphony straight through. Speaking of which, I want to apologize for all of the bad bits where I wasn't as solid, particularly in "Cross-Pollination," where A. I start to get involuntarily shaky and, in turn, pitchy, and B. I accidentally mess up half of one of the lines. So yeah. Fin.
  13. No, Will, YOU are awesome.
  14. Is that a hint that we should do another parody, Lore?
  15. No, I caught it. I just didn't think it a good idea to correct him at the time, seeing as he was already pissed off.
  16. Awww, poor Aussies.
  17. I don't really have to worry about my voice turning deep, seeing as it's naturally there.
  18. AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. :laugh4:
  19. I don't understand why some of these people are being so hostile towards what I'm saying. It's not like I'm being mean. I agree.
  20. Trust me, it took me a while before I'd even press the record button. Thank you both. :wacky:
  21. Haha, was it? I thought it was awkward. It's like I didn't know what to say or when to start. You're too sweet.
  22. OK. Michael, I have three things to say here. 1. You totally sound Californian to me. 2. The drawings were funny as hell. 3. I'm going to ask you to please not read the spoiler that I'm about to type. Yeah, I know, that just gives you probable cause to read it, anyway, but I'm trying to spare us both from an awkward moment. I probably shouldn't say what I'm going to say in the spoiler, but my compulsion to be completely honest with people won't allow me to just leave it alone. Mkay. I'm done with that. I'm now just going to sit here and pray that you actually listen to me, or at least if you happen to ignore it, you don't severly judge me. :embarrassed:
  23. Thanks, Grace! :D Really, guys, thank you so much for all the compliments. It means a lot. I've never done anything like this before. Admittedly, this is the first time I've ever sung for people, so I was really scared. I'm surprised I even did it. I owe Lore, Carrie, and Tracie for pushing me to do it. They helped me step out of my comfort zone, and I think I feel a lot more confident about doing stuff like this in the future. You guys have been so supportive. Just...wow. It's amazing. Thank you.
  24. ^ Botox blank?
  25. Awww, Natt. I love you, too.
