Hi guys, the album leaked, maybe its time for a short thread about your first impressions of Mylo Xyloto if you heard it completely. What do you think about it? (if its not correct to open the thread please delete it!)

So nice to hear all the great reviews also from Mods after all the hate and bashing. It was clear that if we hear the album completely everybody will be pleased. Maybe there are some people who say its not so good as VLV or AROBTTH but I'm sure most will consider it as the best album. I patiently wait until friday. :)

Overproduced, overproduced... this word is so boring. Come on guys, the studio version is always overproduced in comparism to the live one. I'm definitely against the votings after the first listenings. Because most of the songs are grower and we have to listen it several times over a certain period to consider the points for the song. One thing which I want to mention: The synth could be much stronger, louder and powerful.

I really loved the live version but I have to say that you have to hear it some times. A bit unexpected but I'm sure that I will love the song.

And I think that Coldplay shows with this absolutely colorful record more inspiration as Parachutes, AROBTTH and X&Y together. Now, shoot me. A little repetition for you: Its only the lyric line which is the same...

The reviews show how I always thought about the album: Its most likely that Mylo Xyloto will be a masterpiece. So glad to read all the positive reviews... a good feeling after some poeple with extrem negativity here. In the end, it doesn't matter when I will listen to the album. Taste is different and maybe I won't be satisfied. But after hearing ETIAW and Paradise and all the other new songs I'm really sure that this album can't be anything else than a epic masterpiece. Looking forward...only 7 days for me to go!

I'm so bored of all the negativity here. If they try something new with regard to some of the hip hop influences on the latest record its wrong and all the people ask fpr a more simple song with heart and soul. But after Coldplay present you this type of a song its also wrong. I'm proud of Paradise and I'm proud of Up in Flames.

Boring as always. Hm...it doesn't matter that much in my way of thinking. Its not so important for me as long as the album itself will be epic und it definitely going to be epic.

Definitely the album flow. This is the most important thing for a record and also some "bad songs" can be sound good in the whole context.

Definitely Up in Flames or Us against the World. Edit: To be honest: There are too many beautiful songs of MX... :(

I'm sure that I will struggle to finde any musical genre which fits for the album after hearing. Look at PoC, then on U.F.O or UATW, Hip-Hop and acoustic, look at Hurts like Heaven/Major Minus and ETIAW, rock and dancesynthpop... its a collection of all different kinds of music which will be selled extremely. So, in the end, its pop, because pop means popular and if 10.000.000 people+ buy the album we can definitely say it is pop. But its not mainstream pop like Lady Gaga or Katy Perry.

With regard to other descriptions I don't see it in this way. Ok, he/she said it but look at the little text about Charlie Brown or Us against the world. For me, both are better than the one about ETIAW.

I'm not so suprised about that. I'm more suprised about the hate of some people here (well, most of the users like the song now after first disappointment).

Right, the folks behind Dan Green are responsible for the sound in my way of thinking.

Sorry but I can't accept that there are sound problems tonight too. The people paid so much money to spend some time with the band (not so long with regard to the tiny setlist) and they deserve at least good sound. They should definitely care about the problems and take them serious!

After first disappointment I really enjoy listening this song...for me now a 9. I'm excited to hear it in the album context.

We don't need more new songs...they could play just some older classics like Speed of Sound or LiJ or Trouble and so on. Can't believe the setlist is right. Til kingdom come? Charlie Brown and Major Minus changed positions?!

I'm so satisfied with everything of the new era, I love all the songs, the new style and the brave of the band. The festival sets were incredible but is it so amazing that there is a guy who noticed that one and a half hour aren't so long for a big stadium show with expensive prices? Its just a little point in the whole thing and I can't see that there will be criticism if they play 4-5 songs more. I don't mean they should play more new songs of the album, but just some old favorites like Lovers in Japan, Trouble, Talk/Speed of Sound, Strawberry Swing...

Come on, don't get me wrong. I just think that there are also people who aren't that great fans like you and me. They just like some songs and want to see how they are live. The prices aren't that cheap (naturally) and I really believe they could play 4-5 songs more in order to play at least two full hours. In my opinion this is a good length for concert and this wouldn't be a big problem. Its just my opinion, nevertheless I will go to one of the shows. ;)

Seems like no new songs in the setlist. Same as Rio I guess. Honestly I believe they would play some more songs within such a big stadium, not only half an hour. This is really too short for that price.

There are lots of people complaining about the sound via twitter and Co.

Sound like another concert with huge sound problems...

Never sould out. Hard to see so many empty seats.
