Altought I would give the song now a clear 9 I have to say that I like HLH, CB, UATW, MM, ETIAW and PoC more. The verse is a bit boring but the chorus gives me chills.

Nobody has something against posting opinions. But most of the "newbies" claimed just their opinion. You created your Backstreet Boys thread and "LOLed" all the time. This is RIDICOLOUS! And Coldplay doesn't deserve that, no matter how you like their new style, or I should say: The Not-Parachutes-Coldplay. Look at me. Firstly I didn't like it but I just stated it and accept it as a part of Coldplay . I said that nevertheless I don't like the song I have to accept it in a way as a kind of the development. Your answer here shows very well how annoying you are. Sorry, I have to say this. For me, all the fangirls/boys in this forum aren't as bothersome as you. I'm definitely not a fanboy but I have to admit that I'm just grateful that Coldplay doesn't look on single fans who wanted them to produce another Everythings not lost, or Clocks, or Sparks. I'm happy how they develop, and I will accept some mistakes on this brave route.

Well, just a short assesment (later more): At first I didn't like it. After some listenings the songs grow in me - actually 8/9 of ten points. I'm fascinated how thei envolve their style, fascinated by the brave of Coldplay. Not everybody will like it. By the way: Its such a shame how some haters behave. Make fun of the song, make it ridicolous. This is so childish! And its not what Coldplay deserves even if the new Single isn't Clocks (no wonder, or?) With regard to postings by Lore and Co. (always the same users!) I have to cry, because this is absolutely not grateful for all their beautiful music (for Lore and Co. "music of the past"). A shame how people with 20.000 + posts sometimes react...

The "ohohohoho" parts are the only ones I really love... ;)

For sure not my kind of music and don't like the Hip-Hop/R'n'B vibe in it, altought I respect the brave of the band. For now, after three listenings, its ok. Not a song to remember and no song which I want to hear live on a concert instead of Fix you, The Scientist, Strawberry Swing and so on.

My first impression was: Meeehh. Its definitely a song you have to hear some times. Its extraordinary, risky and extremely different. Altought I didn't love the song on the first listen I'm fascinated by their brave. Nevertheless, Charlie Brown would have been the better choice for a single...

I also hope that I will be wrong. But keep the expectations a bit lower iPolitik or Viva or Violett Hill. No, I'm really sure that there will be lots of people who dislike the tune at the beginning - too fresh and different from Parachutes and AROBTTH.

I strongly believe that this song will clearly disappoint us as the second single of MX. Just my thoughts but please keep it in mind when you listen the song for the first times... ;)

I still believe we shouldn't be too optimistic and euphoric. The reviews weren't that epic.

Unfortunatelymost people understand by "pop music" Lady Gaga, Iglesias and the Black Eyed Peas... this is the problem in my way of thinking. Popular music isn't bad in any way. If the song as different it is break the hearts of the people it becomes popular. Thats the way how it works. I can't seriously consider Paradise as a ordinary pop song in the radios. Sorry, but the whole synth and string arrangment is too different, too complex. Yes, I'm still not a huge of the preview but I can imangine the epicness of the building of the synth/string-combination at the beginning.

Don't know what to think about the song. I definitely excpected to hear something different - but there are only 30 seconds. I really like the beginning with the strings and the synth, but the verse is not one of that which create such a massive feeling inside me. I have to admit that I like the song more the more I listen to it, but until now its not better than Hurts Like Heaven, Charlie Brown, MM, PoC, UatW and ETIAW in my honest opinion.

I imangine a mix between the second part of Fix you, a bit of Death and all his friends and a slightly touch of the constantly "move forward"-beat of Lovers n Japan

I'm a bit confused about the story. I can't see a real plot, there are too many changes in the character of the songs. Hmm...

I'm worried about the middle of the album. I'm sure the beginning with Hurts Like Heaven, Paradise, Charlie Brown and UatW will blow their minds away. Also the end with PoC, DLIBYH, Up in Flames and personally Up with the birds will be great. But the middle with ETIAW and MM and the two unknown songs... I don't know... I love the two songs... but they aren't fresh - maybe this is my problem? Its unclear what songs UFO and MMIX are... hmm...I have to wait until I hear it.

That would be a shame in my honest opinion. So, you can see that there will be always some people who aren't satisfied with the setlist. ;)

The front side looks so good for me. The back is also nice. Love the new style of Coldplay. :)

Hm, there are too many. I like Mylo Xyloto, Hurts Like Heaven, PARADISE!, US AGAINST THE WORLD!, UP WITH THE BIRDS, UP IN FLAMES AND DONT LET IT BREAK YOUR HEART! Ok: Major Minus, PoC, ETIAW, A hopeful transmission Don'r know: M.M.I.X and UFO.

I love the title! But maybe the reason is that I'm not a native speaker. If my favorite band would call the song with the equal german translation maybe I would also be disappointed... :P

Viva had also 13 tracks and a length of 45 minutes. Come on guys. The album won't be longer than 50 minutes, I'm still believe it will be under 45 minutes...
