Coldplay was awesome @ Weenie Roast! Chris was his usual charming self & thanked everybody for "sticking around until the end" to see their band. I thought the slow start acoustic version of "Yellow" was the loveliest of all! A great performance all around.:kiss:

OFFICIAL STATEMENT from THE CHURCH OF CHRIS MARTIN: "We decry the fact that Coldplay has not taken the opportunity to return the favor U2 had shown them last summer when the Irish group lent Coldplay the 360 Tour Jet when C/P's own wheels conked out on them in Scandinavia. Glasto's organzier got everyone in a tizzy when he proclaimed that "an English band" would be signed to pick up U2's slack on the Pyramid Stage. Everyone just-hopefully-assumed it would be our Marvelous 4! Not so! I am of the understanding that C/P has already committed to Glasto 2011 and will be needing to promote their new "striped-down music that may suck," which will be out then, but this Glasto teasing has left The Church of Chris Martin heart-broken and annoyed. I hereby pronounce a WRIT of DISPLEASURE with Coldplay's decision to pass on Glasto this year! They have sent our hearts souring on numerous occasions and one can only dream and hope that they would SAVE THE DAY at Glasto! The Church of Chris Martin would like to add that any appearance by Coldplay ANYWHERE is a divine thing and to thank C/P for the joy and solace they bring to a sinful world!" I would like to express my displeasure at the news that Coldplay will not be replacing U2 at Glasto 2010. Those Coldplay boys owe U2 a favor for last summer's borrowing of U2's 360 tour jet when Coldplay's own ride broke down in Scandinavia. They never would have made it back in time to play all those UK shows without it! As an official member of The Church of Chris Martin, we send friendly greetings to our brethren in admiration of Chris Martin and Coldplay. As to whether the Holy War is over with you, I will leave that open to interpretation. We are leaderless now and the ship of Church state is listing at the helm! Whilst Coldplay may be slaving away in their new studios with the solar system in place to afford Chris Martin creative channeling from the heavens, it would not have been so difficult for the boys to pack up the Tour Bus and head up on the muddy roads to Somerset. I know that NEXT SUMMER-2011-they are set for Glaston , when they will be out pimpin their new "striped-down music that may suck!" That probably is the reason they gave for bowing out of replacing Bono & U2; however think of the wonderful publicity Coldplay would receive if they had taken that replacement offer for Glasto! Far be for me to second guess the band; it is one of the few that I respect and love so much-that I would never question whatever it is they are up to. Oh!...but it would have been so wonderful to see them out this summer on that Pyramid Stage-amongst the mud, the bad food and the Brit chicks with horrible teeth! One can only dream...........

I Love Chris as Much as You All Do But..... God Almighty-he looks atrocious here! No wonder his marriage is on the rocks! Gwyneth would not be seen in public with someone looking like that. I know that maybe Chris doesn't care about his public image and all but there is something to be said for looking presentable at a big-deal event. For all his sweetness, graciousness and good manners, Chris needs to buy a good white tux and just wear a white beanie with it, if he wants to try and act subversive. That dude needs to grow his hair long again-those luscious curls were so angelic and gives him a younger appearance. Bad clothing can never disguise those blue Martin eyes-the color of heaven above. The worst cover was the Pet Shop Boy's version. The Boys were swishing around on the stage in kingly capes-it was am affront to God...and especially Coldplay!

OMG these Berry-boppers are kinda pathetic but I will go on record as saying this: HAPPY BIRTHDAY to GUY !

Those Brits are crazy! Coldplay should be #1 and that over-rated cougar Madonna should go and retire to the Kabbalah farm! I guess this is no surprise..coming from the country that brought us Simon Cowell and that stupid show where Susan Boyle came in at #2!

I think that Coldplay is going to use SOLAR ENERGY to power the recording of the new "striped-down" album so it will be entirely environmentally correct! Just a guess!

Chirs Martin knows just how to whet the appetites of Coldplay fans! Jazz-fusion-how will that be tied into the supposed "striped-down" sound? I think this is malarky and secretive Chris is just trying to throw people off track!:)

This Gallagher knob head has a screw loose for sure. He can't stand it that he is now a sad has-been relegated to the dust-bins of nostalgia. He and his equally deranged brother are at the top of The Church of Chris Martin "ENEMIES" list and they are in no danger of losing that position. Count on Liam to run his mouth on slow news days to kick up some attention ! He is truly pathetic and deluded! If he keeps this up, The Church will have to issue a WRIT OF DEFIANCE to his sorry ass and really embarrass him! Amen.:P

Now that the Viva shows are concluded, I have a heavy heart knowing that there will be no more rain of butterflies or Chris and the boys running around in those shabby outfits! I don't know if Coldplay can ever TOP the wonderfulness of the Viva work but I have a feeling that they can. The Church of Chris Martin now waits breathlessly for the new "striped-down" work that "may suck." I just wish that Coldplay was going to be at Glasto this summer; I guess we will just have to settle for Saint Bono and U2 instead.

Chris might be getting swarmed all the time but he must be laughing all the way to the bank! Not too mention the most beautiful women in the world love & adore him! It must be tough going! lol

Perhaps this person is correct about the sound quality but let's try and hear from some others who were maybe seated closer to the action? I know I had no problems last summer in a 20,000-sized venue. Perhaps the muffled sound was because of the size of the stadium? Coldplay would never foist bad music on their fans-reserve judgment until more info is gathered!::stunned:

In this case, I and the other Holy Elders from The Church seek to convey the High Leadership of coldplaying.com an invitation to attend the Glastonbury Pilgrims Invocation this summer which will feature our Hallowed Guest: Holy Saint Bono. We will offer you a seat on the Golden Dais and several VIP passes to our Yellow Tents-pitched on the muddy fields of Somerset, but still a darn good time! As you may be aware, our leader- Father Drobbingdon has taken leave of his senses and gone on the lam from the law & his ex-wife-with her grasping divorce lawyers not far behind! We would like to extend an olive branch to your sect today and hope to iron out a peace treaty before Glastonbury 2010. We are ever so hopeful that Coldplay will be the other head-liner there-along with U2 and rather than be at each other's throats; it is our wish to call a truce to all tensions and let's just try hard to get along! Your members may be appalled by our website; many find it creepy. I can tell you that I saw Chris Martin this past summer and when I shouted out the name of The Church as he ran past up to the cheap seats-he flashed me a BIG SMILE! I believe Chris Martin is AMUSED by the postings and creative commentary there because it is so "out there." Many Church members are just as taken aback by coldplaying.com and your lack of meaningful content but I think it is high time that we stop the bickering and make a peace treaty together. I wonder if Chris Martin is happily married? :inquisitive: I don't mean to pry into his personal life...wait..yes, I do. I just get the feeling that he & Gwyneth have hit that 7-year itch thing that did my marriage in. Chris seems consumed by the burgeoning ultra-success of C/P & Gwyneth-her GOOP-ing & the kids... And the "Yes" song lyrics seem to suggest Chris is pining for a lover over in Japan? Who's to ever understand all that is -about C/P? Remember "the mystery!" I saw Chris Martin at a Xmas concert right when they were just getting started and I looked into his eyes and it was beautiful! I saw a picture of him sleeping on that ferry when his uncle died and he has the face of an angel! I think: HE IS A GOD OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIS MARTIN!
