  1. That dot is actually the album itself; a QR code is sitting and waiting in the cold for a scan. More so, that dot is a symbol of the fifteen years passed since Parachutes released. To say it's just a dot is the greatest insult Coldplay will ever receive. I'm not being serious.
  2. Maybe not now, but they're certainly one of the biggest acts in the past few decades. They're a big deal.
  3. If it's what I'm thinking of, it was the entire band spelling out the title with their hands. I wasn't a fan then but I'm pretty sure it was close to the actual album announcement.
  4. Okay, well, anyone actually expecting gritty Coldplay post-X&Y is grabbing for straws.
  5. Well, I think with two separate sightings (and plenty of unspoken ones!), I like to think it gives validity to the poster itself. :smoking: I do find it interesting there only seems to be one, though. Kinda funny.
  6. The poster is at the Waterloo Underground station.
  7. yo That entire conversation is A+++.
  8. I agree with all of this.
  9. Holy shit. I wanted to think it was a lie until I saw the 'evidence' and...wow. This may be the first rumor I actually believe because wowowowowow. Wow! The hype surrounding Fallout 4 is getting to be too much as is, so if this winds up being true I honestly don't know how I
  10. They have been silent for a little over a month. They made no official announcement of the music video. I understand all the complaints, but Coldplay can do whatever the hell they want to do. We are all spoiled from albums' past, and they're doing something else now. It's okay.
  11. Guys, Coldplay doesn't owe us anything. It's tiring to wait and wait I agree, but there isn't a wrong or right way to help gain momentum for an album release.
  12. All I really want for AHFOD is Chris' voice to come back. :dazzled:
  13. Yeah, it's a Photoshop.
  14. They do. Just like Coldplay is aware of every other release in the coming months.
  15. Who cares? Why do so many people think bands and other artists are actively watching others release new music and going, "You know what? We just fucked ourselves. Pack it up, boys. We're done." I know this is surprising, but maybe Coldplay doesn't necessarily want the world to stare at them.
  16. No offense, but you've been saying things like you know they're fact for a solid month or two now.
  17. Hahaha, I remember that too. Hearing new music is always subjective, so while I obviously believe Saket, we need to understand one song can be interpreted many ways when it's being heard for the first time.
  18. Yup. They seemed to have never discovered their own sound after How To Save A Life became a hit, and from there, it's all the same. I know people say that about Coldplay, but Coldplay is wildly different with each album while still having that unmistakeable Coldplay sound. The Fray, however, doesn't have that voice and makes them very, very unremarkable.
  19. One of the hardest things I remember having to tell myself early on into becoming a Radiohead fan was that, as a whole, Radiohead is a much more talented band than Coldplay is. I didn't want to accept it for the longest time, but it's simply the truth. Like you said, either of them could go solo and have it be critically acclaimed. Radiohead is a one-of-a-kind band, and while I admire every album of theirs (The Bends is better than Kid A), it just comes down to what I like more, you know? Coldplay will forever be my favorite band, but I recognize their faults. Just like I recognize Radiohead's faults. I love what both have done for the music world. The only reason I even got into Radiohead was because Chris talked about Paranoid Android in an interview once and I was curious enough -- and bam. Four years later, I'm a superfan.
  20. Exactly! I find it hilarious how kneejerk this website is.
  21. He was at the video shoot.
  22. The point is that it's really not hard at all to find anything new now that we're in a lull again. It doesn't bother me personally, but I can understand where people are coming from.
  23. Oh man, don't they? It amazes me every year. I have to imagine they do nothing but laugh at the whole thing.
