Amazing Day
That is definitely not an electronic drumset. The full YouTube video is more-or-less "proof" of that.

Amazing Day
Holy shit. That's so beautiful.

Amazing Day
My very first thought was Strawberry Swing and a mix of something from X&Y. I really dig it.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I don't see that comparison at all. Quite honestly, this is the exact opposite of what most people were expecting. Again, I can't judge since it's so early, but this sounds very 'old' Coldplay.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Holy moly. I know we can't judge off less than a minute of a new song, but I am astounded already.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Yeah, I don't know where this one is either. Link?

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Holy crap, I love it so far. I can see it 'expanding' into a loud chorus. WE'RE SO CLOSE.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Sorry for coming off so rude. I didn't realize how it came off until I re-read what I said. My bad! Agreed. It'd be one thing if Chris wrote, "Let's dance, dance, dance, dance the night away!" or something, but I'm going to wait and see the context of line (if it even makes the album!)

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Seriously? 'Dancing' is not a toxic word. This insinuates absolutely nothing.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Gah, no kidding! If the quality of the album as a whole is like this and more, we're in for a treat.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Though it definitely wasn't planned, the closest we're ever going to get to that for a long time is Ghost Stories, as far as I'm concerned. Yes! Or something close to it.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Chris said something during an interview that seems to be ignored, but could potentially mean a lot: (and I'm paraphrasing) "We've been working on A Head Full of Dreams and it's something we've been wanting to do for a long time..." Just based on my own opinion of the creation of this album, I feel like they've wanted to do this since around the Mylo Xyloto era, but with Chris' split, it was put on the burner just to get it out of their system. I bet this project has been a long time coming.

Ugh, Up in Flames is so bad. I tried to like it for months and months, but God, it's just bad. The only good part is the three seconds of Jonny at the very fuckin' end.

wat What he said.

First Single Predictions!
God, this feels so much like us piecing together the pieces of the ETIAW lyrics back in the day. :') I really, really like this the most: Hopefully these lyrics make it to the album. Because if these are from the same song, they seem to be some of Chris' best.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Mhm, that's definitely 'thunder'. The 'hund' is the giveaway.

[18-SEP-2015] Coldplay iHeartRadio Music Festival, Las Vegas
Yes. They were never planning on playing anything new, and the only disappointment we have is what we as a community created.

First Single Predictions!
Woah. This honestly may be more nothing than hindsight bias, but I do find it incredibly interesting that both of those interpretations are what they've been pimping since Chris gave us the title last year. Thanks for sharing!

First Single Predictions!
I'm listening to both Lit's right now. I forgot how good they are, omg. The tabla is a nice, subtle touch, and that's sort of what I'm expecting with the single/album as a whole. Viva as a whole did an incredible job of pushing the cultural theme without it being in your face, and I assume they'll do the same with AHFOD. I'm probably wrong, but I have a prediction regarding either the album cover/era theme. Jonny was wearing a peacock-like design on his shirt pocket which you can see in most of the group pictures. I thought it looked pretty neat, so I decided to do a short Google search for peacocks and Hinduism -- and sure enough, they play quite an interesting role. Lots of interpretations and meanings, none of which could even have any meaning for this album, but it is a bit coincidental with all the Indian/Hindu themes we've had so far!

[18-SEP-2015] Coldplay iHeartRadio Music Festival, Las Vegas
I'm just gonna put a note here: Kanye is a highly-respected artist and musician. Sure, the festival as a whole might be targeted towards a different demographic, but Kanye is honestly on a higher caliber than Coldplay is in the eyes of most critics/listeners.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Well said. Like we discussed the other day, any disappointment we would/do feel is totally on us. Coldplay knew what they were walking into, and it's not like they didn't do some form of teasing, you know?

Hell, I'm waiting for Kanye.

Wow, if that's correct, that's actually a dope line.

People ask me why I hate country music all the time, because I was born and raised in Texas, so naturally I'd love it, right? No. F country music.

I hope Kanye announces his new album tonight. Like holy shit, I would lose my mind. Also please do Homecoming with Chris.
