  1. Still can't believe he did this. Twisted Logic is my favorite closer, and even pullng it out for something like this is just so cool. The kids did an amazing job! Now if they can only place this on the tour. :bomb:
  2. I say this with no offense, but the reason you're 'forgetting' about AHFOD is because you're listening to new, completely-unrelated-to-Coldplay music. It's like if I suddenly got into country music; how could I compare the two? I agree with all your favorite tracks, though, (with Up&Up included) but most of those artists could not be any different from Coldplay then or now.
  3. They've been playing Birds since the first AHFOD show. I'd recommend @coldplaykb's video, or the audio from Saturday's Mexico show. Both are excellent.
  4. It's been out for four months now and I still can't get over Birds. Seriously, each listen is like the first time. I've never had a Coldplay song rise so quickly to my list of all-time favorite Coldplay songs!
  5. Amsterdam was a good closer for its time, but then Fix You and Every Teardrop and Up&Up came along. Up until I saw them in 2012, I would always argue that Every Teardrop was the worst closer they could have picked but boy was I wrong. What a wall of energy. I hope they move it lower in the setlist as this tour progresses simply because of how much fucking energy it has. It'd fit in perfectly between ASFOS and Up&Up! I'm beyond pumped to hear Up&Up live. If I get emotional hearing it over recordings I honestly don't know what I'll be like when I hear it with my own ears. Not to mention that fucking beautiful outro of, "Believe in love". Reminds me a lot of Life is For Living -- and in some ways, better than that!
  6. The more I think about it, the more I believe this was what birthed the request set for the AHFOD tour.
  7. Awesome! Maybe we'll see each other there! As far as the VIP tickets, the only thing I would imagine dropping price would be through StubHub or somewhere similar. I actually saw Section A, Row 24 the other day for a price that wasn't totally overpriced.
  8. Any idea what the setlist is tonight?
  9. I'm gonna need a DL link right now.
  10. Everything from vocals to energy to like, I dunno, fucking AROBTTH has made tonight absurdly memorable. Honestly this one of the best shows they have ever done and I use that very lightly.
  11. This is my ghost now. I don't know what to feel but this is all I've wanted them to play since becoming a fan in 2008. Fucking wow.
  12. HOLY FUCKING SHIT NO FUCKING WAY
  13. Loving the full version of this.
  14. I'll never forget how floored I felt when Guy's bass came in. Made my day.
  15. This is a very good show.
  16. Yo Hymn For The Weekend is actually better live. Also I fucking love the extended brass intro to the chorus. It's the catchiest part of the song tbh.
  17. I really didn't like Ink when it came out but damn, it's one of the most relaxing songs Coldplay has.
  18. So it looks like they go Magic > Princess of China > Ink > GPASUYF?
  19. This Paradise remix is sick af
  20. Honestly, it's one of the best songs they've ever done. I can never get enough of it.
  21. Birds is even better live wtf
  22. Dang, ETIAW sounds better than it ever has!
  23. Section C, Row 35! :bigcry:
  24. Interesting. I think that says a lot about what they're trying to accomplish with this era, honestly. It's pretty fair to say AOAL is going to be the single people remember off the album, but it's also fair to say the band doesn't want quite the attention for songs like with previous albums. Having Up&Up as a single doesn't prove that, but it does seem to show they want to spread the message of 'love' over yet another hit.
