My Favourites are "What if", "X&Y", "Swallowed in the Sea" and "Square One"

I rather skip "Daylight" than "A Whisper" on "Rush of Blood" :) But the tracks I skip on "X&Y" are defenitly "Low" and "Hardest Part" ... why didn't the SOS B-Sides or "How you see the World" make it on that record :huh:

Rush of Blood IS Coldplay ... nothing more, nothing less "Parachutes" is the innocent Coldplay, "X&Y" is the too-commercial Coldplay

yes... thanx for that thread... :) I just got the album today and I'm listening to it now for the third time... It didn't catched me up to now (hope that isn't a bad sign). So I really love the title of this topic because that's just how I feel... I mean, what I'm really worried about, I'm a huge fan of synthies (my favourit band is Depeche Mode :D )and the synthies are good arranged on "X&Y" but somehow... It's really a little bit strange and not typical for the band. It's kind of sad that they actually lost their special atmosphere... the one that they had on "Parachutes" and also on a lot of "Rush of Blood" numbers... but this time... I don't know. I need to listen to it just a little bit more :D

also got the "Jackinabox" LP... I really like it. A relaxed summer soundtrack album for laying at the beach or in the sun... I love such stuff and I need a personal summer album every year... so this year: It's gonna be "JackInABox". Good tunes :)

actually I like "incomplete", the new single... I also liked some stuff they did in the 90s... It's nice Pop music... not more, but really good produced and written. There are worser boygroups, like o-Town or Blue (although both splitted up) :)

Sigur Rós, Kings of Convenience, Eskobar, Air and a lot of ambient and chillout music... that helps :)

Got the "Out of Nothing" album... pretty good although it's often a little bit ornated :)

"Politik" ... cause it's so monumental and epic... It starts with this hard drums and guitars, very direct, than slows down when Chris sings. And I really love the part after the middle when the whole character of the song changes into a more sensitive way. And the lyrics are also fantastic
