OHHHH I love A Spell A Rebel Yell...its one of my favorites..I just love how experimental it is.... anyway....I agree about Politik....I hated it the first time that I heard it because I thought it was too dark (same as 42) but now I love them both. And I remember Chris saying that A Whisper was one of their least popular songs but that it was one of his favorites...I love it

Ok....so I have about 151 Coldplay songs on my iPod right now.....I havn't listened to all 151 of them but I can honestly say that of all of the CP songs that I have there is not 1 single song that I dislike....Even when I listen to a song that I've never heard by them, I always like it. Now the topic is songs that you dislike I can say that I have a least favorite song.... My least favorite song is either Lhuna which really isn't their song or the album version of The Hardest Part (mainly because I like the live version way better)

Hahahahah....this is exactly what Coldplay wanted to happen. I recall in the interview on 60 Minutes, they showed the list of rules for the band. One of them was to keep things a mystery. They never really reveal much about a song because if you know what its about....then your interpretaions don't matter and then the song isn't very personal, and then you just get bored with it. My interpretation is just having a perfect day with someone you are in love with and just having the perfect picnic under a tree with a swing atop a hill. And of course, butterflies would be flying around. I actually experianced this with one of my ex's. We went to a park and had a picnic. I had my ipod and my speakers and we listened to this song and just got lost in it.

I have a pretty good range in vocals and can sing almost all Coldplay songs minus a few high notes, but Yes is actaully in my natural pitch range so I LOVE singing it.

In my mind, I've always thought that it would be Christ counting, Guy saying "its a bit flat" (because "flat" sounds very Scottish to me, but I'm an American so what do I know) and Eno clapping since everyone elses hands were busy...... And I know that they rocorded in different places, so I've always imagined this one being recorded in a chruch because of the natural echo and reverb throughout the song.

Actually they were probably a little busy getting the End of Decade Sale ready. And then after they were done with that, I'm sure that the guys went home for a while to be with their families for Xmas. You have to remember that they have regular lives like us too. I do really wish that they would make Christmas Lights but I understand if they don't.
