i definitely agree with this. in this case Burma=Earth & the UK=Mars, and because of all the political strife in their country they're being torn from it...altho i'm sure most of you didn't need me to oversimplify that for you lol:lol::D

i've had this queued on Youtube for like the past 3 hours....I CAN'T GUYS. I CAN'T. Why are they so awesome? seriously. there is no other band in the world that does this to me...:dizzy: :awesome: i don't know how i'm gonna make it to october! :D

after having it on repeat nonstop for the past three hours, i must say i love it lol. it grows on you. very upbeat. :) i have every faith in Coldplay...they've never let me down

i'll agree with you on the second one but the other two :D but yeah, basically comment twins. everyone is FREAKING out...there's so much to go tho! and this really does grow on you the more you listen to it...but i could be biased lol

its one song off the album. everyone needs to calm the eff down. i didn't really like VLV (altho Violet Hill is one of my favs and WAS released early too lol)...but the album ITSELF was pretty good...there are instances where the initial single isn't amazing, but the album is good. DON'T PANIC :)

agreed to all of this. a lot of their lyrics are somewhat "cheesy" but I've come to accept that I, at least...i guess am a cheesy type of person lol

i'm pretty sure i'm shaking and crying in anticipation over the single/album/everything...since i discovered coldplaying.com towards the end of the VLV stuff, I didn't get to participate in the excitement...but now....flailing forever. this is probably the wrong thread, but i haven't looked around yet; do we know a possible date/time period (ie springish) for the new album? shouldn't be long, right?

streaming through my ipod touch at work and when they announced him, I was like what omg...had to stifle my excitement, since i'm not really supposed to be watching stuff at work lol

i watched this on my dvr tonight, and altho I did complain to the roomie ("They just butchered my favorite Coldplay song...") when they started crying, I got all smug and was like, you know, the only reason that was so emotive was because Coldplay writes beautiful music :laugh3: she laughed at me, but she knows i'm right lol

Also, in regards to the song itself, I actually was never really into A Message until a few months ago. I don't know what it was, I guess I finally really listened to it all, and it was just...wonderful. It's def now in my top 5...altho i find it hard to organize my top 30 fave coldplay songs :/ lol

I would agree with this wholeheartedly. While I liked Coldplay before it, I had never really had the resources to get really into them (ie I was a poor kid and too young to work for my own money lol) but X&Y was what began my obsession. I just remember listening to Swallowed in the Sea, A Message, Til Kingdom Come and of course, Fix You...how can people hate something from which so many great tracks came?
