  1. The account is not available anymore :nice: I wonder if Jensz took it off himself or if it happens because people reported him :S I have got the suspicion that he could be on this forum since he's a Coldplay fan .... :ninja:
  2. omg, I think I want to make an appointment with my dentist like RIGHT NOW :laugh3:
  3. Coeurli, the foxes MrLick is talking about are domesticated foxes. Breeding of them already happens since the 1950's and after more than 40 generations I would say they can't be put back in their 'natural' habitat anymore. Potbellied pigs are also bred as pets :laugh3: See eg. http://cbsu.tc.cornell.edu/ccgr/behaviour/Index.htm about the research where they breed foxes for research. These foxes are as tame as dogs.
  4. Or is he inspired by Adele??? Or by The Beatles??? The Arcade Fire? Mew? Why do you think he could be inspired by listening to Coldplay? Funny thing about being inspired by music .... The Twilight Saga is written by a big Muse fan. She says in the beginning of the books that she is inspired by Muse's music. Another band that influenced her according to her official website is ..... Coldplay :bigcry:
  5. Hahaha, but saying it like to the knee is part of the meme. Falling over this is like correcting Lolcat grammar, hihi.
  6. Looking at the past ... creepy :(
  7. Hallo! :)

  12. Okay, I got my answer when I saw the new thread posted by TS: http://coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91401 Hiiiiighly likely ..... no.
  13. Wyrd replied to Nikola's topic in The World Of Music
She didn't tell you that :| This! Ah and Lory, nice design. I guess it takes a trained eye and a true artist heart and a decent year of art school to grasp to true meaning of that master piece. ;) Am I right with my interpretation of a woman full of grief (the blue tears) and depression (the red cringles around you are smothering you), not being able to voice exactly what she means (the grey stripes blocking your mouth)? Maybe it being made in Paint makes that people are confused about it. It makes it look like it's made by a kid :S Sorry Nikola for bumping your thread :(
  14. I can explain it for you as well :nice: : Nikola is not a pseudo of Chris or Jonas. He is someone else. Lory, you are still using this thread without actually posting pictures of Jonas Bjerre in it, so whyyyy? Also, do you really feel there should be a thread devoted to Lory posting pics of Jonas Bjerre? In the Music Section of the forum, I think not. I rather see this thread closed as the topic starter wanted as well. Ohemul. She is not the same Erica you have on facebook, Lory. That Erica is from Mexico, this one is not. If that is what you meant by the question ... if you mean the thread, then: Yes, it's the one Ohemul referred/linked to. Please use this thread if it's about JB :) :lock:
  15. Where did you hear this?
  16. "The Swiss did not legalise piracy. More dishonesty from you. The Swiss legalised piracy for personal use." I think is like saying: "Not all seeds are poisenous. The seed Rosary Pea' bean is." I don't see what's so hard to understand about what she meant. Also, the link Saffire linked to to show that Swiss recently legalized piracy is not saying they did. It only says they still allow free downloading for personal use. Nothing is recently legalized according to that article. Just my two cents :escaping2:
  17. I don't know if you mean that or if you are taking the piss out of me ... :shame: Anyway, thanks :nice:
  18. BUMB I like rainbows and science :awesome: So ... just have to say that Michele Bachmann is scary. She claims the Founding Father's of the US extinguished slavery: "We were all the same!" Yep, all equal. Poor and rich, black and white. Except of course gay people, because according to her homosexuality is "sexual dysfunction," "sexual identity disorders," and "personal enslavement" that leads to "sexual anarchy." She likes to say weird things to make the democrats look bad, such as "I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president Jimmy Carter. And I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it's an interesting coincidence." - Pajamas TV Okay ..... Carter was president from 1977 to 1981. Swine Flu broke out in early 1976. Gerald Ford was the president back then ... he was a republican. So, what was her point again? She congratulated Elvis Presley with his birthday on the date he died. Way to go. ... a state that doesn't exist anymore since 1991. Erhm, the movie star John Wayne wasn't, but the serial killer John Wayne was ... she has that kind of spirit? Scary, I tell ya. Gays are really not that bad. Look, they send a letter of apology to Amy Koch for ruining her marriage. That's kind :nice:
  19. Spill the beans. I find it a dirty way of saying that you say forward things you should/wanted to keep for yourself. It's like we are eating beans - and I don't like the taste of beans in tomato saus anyway YUK - and then after a big spoon you decide to talk about it and while saying it spilling the beans, sup sup sup sup sup, right out of your mouth with tomato saus and all and probably I didn't even want to hear what will be said anyway. Urgh, I hate beans. ... maybe I shouldn't picture idioms in my head when people use them ... :( I also don't like it when people say a idiom and say 'literally'. Like a colleague was telling me he 'literally left before the gospel'. I was like 'literally'? He 'Yes' I was like 'REALLY, because if it's literally, you walked out of the church before they started singing the gospel. Did you not get her pregnant by walking out of a church???? Really' He says 'No, of course not. It's not literally.' Yeah, I am a bitch :| I also don't like the idiom hens of luxury Oh wait, that's not even ... whut?
  20. Brent, going through the quarterlife crisis? Med school doesn't need smart people as in smart smart. It's maybe more about persistence. :) Having the heart for it and really wanting to do it. Reading that you already did a BSc and a MSc in the beta field, I shouldn't worry too much about not being smart enough for med school. I want to be an artist. Being creative with colors, pictures, music, people, whatever. But it doesn't pay my bread so I applied for a PhD which subject I loved and got enrolled in the program. It doesn't make much money, but more than enough for me to live and do something with my hobby as well. I am being creative :) For me it's not about carreer and making loads of money, so I am happy with my life like this. PhD positions don't pay usually in the US but in many countries in Europe they do. If you are willing to emigrate for it, you can think of doing a PhD in Holland or Germany. You'd have a carreer in science and would make enough money not only to support yourself but also your family. You'll write as well and get free courses in how to write (both scientific and novel). I don't know if it's of any help :S Anyway, good luck with the struggle. Your family will love you, whatever path you choose. You should do the same.
  21. People I have met met from forums were pretty much how I expected them to be and contact went relatively easy, because I had the feeling I already knew them a bit although it was the first time we met. Also, at least you should have something to talk about if that would worry you, when finally meeting. I find it very nice meeting them/you in real life. I've never encountered a forumgoer IRL that was totally different from how he/she acted on the net, but maybe people who troll or act on the webs generally don't meet up with fellow boarders. I think having met already in real life does add in how much you like the person. I tend to like people more if I have already met them in real life, but maybe that's also because I wouldn't want to meet them if I didn't like them, so my meeting IRL is already biased. I don't know.
  22. Hahaha, new way of ignoring people .... replying to their posts by quoting and saying in the reply you just ignored the person. Also, this is not at all answering her question. and I agree with cool sombrero emoticon using guy, you were implying that they already abused the NDAA or are at the verge of doing so. At least, that's how I read it and apparently others as well. If not, then I don't see why this was brought up at all.
  23. :) and I said it is not Mew. You say Jonas is in Mew. True, but that doesn't make this song a Mew song. It is not a Mew song but a solo song by Jonas Bjerre. Dear Lory, would you please let this thread die. Please don't post video's in here anymore or posts that are posted somewhere else already. The topic starter wants/wanted the thread to die/close and I am sure many others - if not all - want that too. So, please let it be.
  24. Hate it when I post "FIRST!" and then it turns out two people beat me to it and that comment shows up as third. I got a couple of youtube hate messages because of that :(
