My mom owns a bookstore, and I had made a list of a few books that I wanted for my birthday next week. This morning when I got to work I saw that she had put all the orders through that will arrive next week, and she didn't order any of my books but she ordered a bunch for my twin sister. I asked her about it and she said "She was too busy and had more important things on her mind". I know it sounds kind of bratty for me to me mad about it, but it's just that she does this kind of stuff all the time. She's totally absorbed with my sister and doesn't seem to care what I do or have any interest in me.

I wonder if they will have definite "costumes" for concerts like with Viva, or if they will be a little more laid back this time and wear whatever they feel like.

I don't know yet! I can't remember if I work on Friday or not! I'll check at work today. But even if I'm at work, I always work alone and Fridays are always quiet so I will be able to listen to it!

U2 was in the city nearest me last night...I was sort of jealous of all my friends who went, but the tickets were ridicuously priced. Plus they played at an outdoor venue and my province never gets nice weather in May (and yesterday was no exception!) so it didn't seem worth it.

I don't have a lastfm, but some of my favourites are Coldplay, Snow Patrol, White Lies, Florence + the Machine, The Fray, The Killers, Muse, The Postal Service, Adele, Ellie Goulding, Two Door Cinema Club. Hope that's enough to go by :) I will probably like anything you pick as long as it's not rap or screamo. :P

What time is it in the UK? 3 or 4 pm? Hopefully we will hear something soon (if we hear anything at all)...

I only have one theatre in my town so it's highly unlikely that the Glastonbury performance will be shown here. Actually make that impossible....we never get anything but the massive blockbusters! Perhaps it will be released as a live DVD somewhere down the line?

Crap, I just realized that my partner knows basically every band I was planning to put on my tape! :bomb: This will definitely be a challenge!
