  1. Some people turn out to be different that what you would have predicted 5 years ago. And that it's sad when they do.
  2. Everyone looks great! For some reason my eyes make me look like a stoner tonight, but this one wasn't too bad. :
  3. Has anyone ever played An American Elegy by Frank Ticheli? So pretty
  4. Yep, euphonium and trombone. But I graduated last year so I don't play anymore. And I was renting from my high school, so I don't have an instrument to even play on! I still play piano though, so at least it's something. What do you play?
  5. :curtain: *creeps on conversation* God, I miss concert band and wind ensemble. I haven't played a brass instrument in almost a year now.
  6. Why not? Jude Law?
  7. Where to Start - Tommy and the High Pilots
  8. So U2 is playing in a city near me in May, and I don't have tickets. The Fray is opening so I realllly want to go! My aunt and uncle had tickets but recently separated...so I'm kind of wondering who is taking the tickets, and who will get the extra..... That sounds really selfish of me though. :shame:
  9. It would be amazing if they performed at the opening ceremony! :bomb: I have a feeling that whoever ends up performing, it's going to be great. Can't wait!
  10. Oh, and to whoever has me, I don't have lastfm, so here are some bands that I listen to: Coldplay Snow Patrol The Postal Service Florence + the Machine White Lies Metric Seriously, though I like everything but rap. And really twangy country. I like upbeat stuff, sad stuff, and anything with an epic string section! :D
  11. I'm happy with my mixtape partner...we seem to have similar taste in music, so this should be fun!
  12. Agreed, it totally sounds like them. In my opinion, anyways :P Whether it's real or not, I love it and will put it on my iPod labelled Coldplay!
  13. The typical Canadian pot smoker? Are you wanting to create a stereotype?
  14. Yay, that would be perfect! My last exam is that day, so I can send in my mixed tape when I get home! Thanks! :awesome:
  15. Bahh I just realized that the day the mixed tape is due, I am in the middle of exams! It looks like my mixed tape will just have to be a mix of songs that I'm really loving at the moment...I don't have a lot of time to think it through or put them in a strategic order! :P
  16. The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf
  17. Evita: 8/10 Soooo good. I didn't know Madonna could act like that!
  18. I applied to transfer to a university 3 hours away from home, and sent an application in to live in residence! I'm soooo nervous, but excited!
  19. :stunned: I can't believe I did it!!!
  20. Younger. Unless I have lots of makeup on and my hair done all nice and older-looking clothes haha. But even then...younger. :disappointed:
  21. I JUST figured out what I want to do, and I'm almost 19! I don't think people should feel pressured to choose a career when they are young, because they're just going to change their mind anyway (in many cases). I think you should think about what you enjoy, try and think of careers related to what you enjoy, and figure out if these interests are realistic to apply and build a career with. Good luck!
  22. Congratulations! That's amazing, you should be so proud of yourself! What will you be studying?
