  1. Denim shorts, and an awesome cow t-shirt.
  2. To me, studio noises are what make an album real. Jack's Mannequin and Kings of Convenience (two of my three favourite bands... three guesses what the third is ;) ) both do it on some of their tracks, even if its just a bit of talk at the end of the track. Jack's Mannequin's 'Rescued', for instance, has the guitarist talking at the end of the song about how something came unplugged...
  3. SEOUL | Tue Nov 23, 2010 1:22am EST SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea on Tuesday fired dozens of artillery shells at a South Korean island, setting buildings on fire and prompting a return fire by the South, Seoul's military and media reports said. Seoul's YTN television quoted a witness as saying 60 to 70 houses were on fire after the shelling. The military confirmed the exchange of firing, without providing more details. (Reporting by Seoul bureau; Writing by Yoo Choonsik; Editing by Jeremy Laurence) - REUTERS Source: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6AM0TZ20101123 ----- SKorea: NKorea fires artillery onto island SEOUL, South Korea – South Korea said Tuesday that it returned fire after North Korea fired artillery onto a South Korean island and into the sea near the countries' disputed western border. A South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff official said dozens of rounds of artillery landed on Yeonpyeong island. The official says South Korea fired back. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of JCS rules, had no other details. The firing comes amid tension over North Korea's claim that it has a new uranium enrichment facility. The countries' western maritime boundary has long been a flash point between the two Koreas. The North does not recognize the border that was unilaterally drawn by the United Nations at the close of the 1950-53 Korean War. North and South Korea have fought three bloody skirmishes near the maritime border in recent years, most recently in November 2009. 4. I live in Adelaide, Australia. Lots of people hate it (say it's the backwards city of Australia, etc.), but I love it. If only more bands came our way. That being said, I would like to live in Sydney or something.
  5. I used to love the album, but there are certainly better ones. X&Y was brilliant, but Viva is growing on me again - I've been listening to it more than usual over the past few days. But, it just doesn't have those brilliant songs that, say, Parachutes or X&Y has. I mean, it's got epically brilliant songs like Cemeteries of London and Death and All His Friends. But then it's got what are, in my opinion, not so good tracks (like 42, which is the only 1-star song in my library... yes, you may kill me, I cop a lot of flak from my friends for that). But I agree, they needed the album to reassess themselves. And hell, it's only my 3rd favourite album because all of them are so damned good :D

  11. 886 Write out a plot to kill a teacher/lecturer - even better, the supervisor of your exam. Hand it up with your exam (or it IS your exam), possibly with a death threat to the person you're plotting against.
  12. Delicious chocolate slice omnomnom.
  13. Awesome, 'cos I just had my music exam. Which I finished 20-25 minutes before the exam ended. And the exam only went for an hour.

  17. Caves - Jack's Mannequin
  18. Well, even though it would be awesome that it would be the case, it's pretty unlikely... they're far more likely to unveil a new track or tracks at the Crisis gigs. Not to say I don't want them to unveil a new track at the awards... that'd be awesome.
