I was lying in my bed this morning with all the lights off and the third stanza began (but especially the 'Then taking back the punch I threw / My arms turn wings oh those clumsy things . . .') and it just hit me as to how incredibly beautiful this song really is.

Oh. That's always fun. /sarcasm :P My Geometry teacher freshman year is in charge of all the athletic stuff (like figuring out where games are played and the rankings and stuff) so his lectures would always get interrupted by important phone calls that he had to take.

Art = good at :nod: EDIT: And English. Writing is definitely my strongpoint. I play clarinet in the band, and I'm first chair, but I doubt I'm good enough to go to college for it (then again, I have two more years to practice if I want to . . . maybe I'll get a partial scholarship or something). So yeah.

Chem is my next-worst subject. I pretty much bombed the last test because I forgot to write the noble gas configurations for like ten of the questions :bomb: Not hate . . . just passionately dislike :rolleyes: Although it wouldn't be so bad if someone hadn't gotten the bright idea of putting me in an "advanced" math class :shifty: Don't get too full of yourself, now :P

Good in its simplicity, but the drum beat gets annoying. The lyrics aren't bad, but the chorus gets on my nerves. But it is not the worst song on the album (by far), and Jonny's riff at the end is great (even though it's too short, IMHO) so I'm giving it a 6.

The only really amazing bit in the lyrics is the 'the tightrope that I'm walking just sways and ties / the devil as he's talking with those angel's eyes' but the rest of them are decent enough. Plus, the intro and the crescendo into Guy's bass is awesome. So no, not too terribly overrated. If we were rating it, I would give it a solid 7 at least.

^ I agree that the first part is absolutely amazing--nearly on-par with the crescendo of DaAHF where the guys belt it out :wacky:. The second half is good, too, but it can't compare with the first two minutes or so.
