Help me: need some advices about a guy
He has to understand it, just like me, even if it is frustrating... 'cause you girls always have the last word to decide who are you gonna be with! Anyways, I hope that although you are not choosing that guy, you are not gonna choose some other guy like the other asshole just because of his physic. Remember: the person you choose has to be balanced in all aspects, if there's something you don't like about him, don't play with his feelings.

Help me: need some advices about a guy
Honestly, I think that poor guy was just friendzoned by you from the beginning. "Our friends at the beginning felt like we were going to date but now they know too that that is not going to happen (he has a girlfriend now so that makes it even more clear)". This is exactly the same that happened with my best female friend and me. My female friend just see me as a friend and she always tells me that nothing else is gonna happen never. And it's even worst, because she thinks that I'm cute and I also make her laugh, but I don't know, it's just that she doesn't see me as her boyfriend or anything else... And that case is not the first, it has happened to me other times too. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so unfortunately you have to find the perfect person in both aspects, the physic and the personality. I think that the best we can do, is just forget that person and start meeting some others, because sometimes it goes anywhere. I hope it helps!

Ghost Stories, release date: 19 May 2014
I didn't know exactly where to post this, but here it goes. This is a part of Cemeteries of London: So we rode down to the river where the toiling ghosts strain for their curses to be broken… We’d go underneath the arches where the witches are in there saying there are ghost towns in the ocean… The ocean… Ghosts and oceans!

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Just thought that maybe using a sentence of one song of their own discography would be cool for an album title, like for example: Nobody Said it was Easy, Closing Walls and Ticking Clocks, The Future's for Discovering, Cursed Missed Opportunities, Cycle of Recycled Revenge (or just Recycled Revenge), Through Chaos as it Swirls. What do you think? You can give more ideas!

Interpol
I just received this email from them: "Hello Friends, It’s been a long time coming but we’re finally ready to share some new album news. We’d like to announce the release of our upcoming new album, El Pintor. We wrote & recorded the bulk of the album in 2013 in NYC and finished mixing it in London during the early part of this year. We’re very excited to share the album with all of you. The album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios & Atomic Sound by Mr. James Brown and mixed by Mr. Alan Moulder at Assault & Battery studios. We had a lot of fun making this record and can’t wait for you to hear it. The album will be released on September 9th in North America and September 8th in all other territories. You can pre-order the album here. We also took the opportunity to capture some background film footage of the recording of the album. A first in our history. You can view a clip here. All the best, Interpol" More from Wikipedia: El Pintor is the fifth studio album by American rock band Interpol. It will be released on September 8, 2014 internationally and on September 9, 2014 in North America, through Matador Records. Recorded at Electric Lady Studios and Atomic Sound in New York City, the album was engineered by James Brown and mixed by Alan Moulder, who is known for his production and mixing work for My Bloody Valentine and Nine Inch Nails. The album title, which means "the painter" in Spanish, is an anagram of Interpol. It is the band's first album without the bassist Carlos Dengler, who departed the band after the release of the band's eponymous album in 2010. The bass duties on the album were taken by frontman Paul Banks. The album features guest appearances by Brandon Curtis of Secret Machines, Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. and Rob Moose of Bon Iver. The band will be embarking a summer tour in accompaniment with the album. Track listing: All tracks written by Interpol. 1. All the Rage Back Home 2. My Desire 3. Anywhere 4. Same Town, New Story 5. Criticisms with the album?
Probably not having more songs like Fly On/O, the combo itself.
-
Criticisms with the album?
Man, I'm not as fan of Radiohead as of Coldplay and I don't know their entire discography, but I have the last 3 albums, which are newer than OK Computer, and them have great songs on it.
-
Criticisms with the album?
Maybe one day we will see Guy or Jonny moving like this.
-
Criticisms with the album?
For those who don't like the album, don't worry people, Ghost Stories is just the calm before the storm. I don't know what kind of storm will be, but I hope for an electric guitar storm.

Criticisms with the album?
So... if X&Y is an album that they are not proud of, I want that they make another one that they are not proud of.

Midnight 7-inch to be released for Record Store Day
One question to everybody that bought it, does yours have white painting or just a relief? Because mine looks like this one, so I don't know if the one that arrived was a damaged one or what.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
This is from the LP5 - WikiColdplay: Possible LP5 songs - found on the South Bank Show (September 2009) The band were seen in discussion with Melvyn Bragg in the autumn as he travelled with them for six months, taking in their win at 2009's Grammy Awards, a tour throughout Japan, the Brit Awards and the War Child concert in London, where they performed with Bono, the Killers and Take That's Gary Barlow. Bragg was also seen spending quality time with the band whilst they worked on their next album in their north London studios, where the following list of songs was gleaned: 1000-1 (Ballad Of …) Aiko Alien Radio Alive Day Arabesque Boyfriend Buzz Car Kids Cartoon Head Cartoon Heart Christmas Lights Drunks And Guns Famous Old Painters Gardeners On The Frontline Great Expectations Harbingers Of Doom Harmony Hook Up If I Ever Fall In Love Again It Was A Wonderful Day Love In A Lethal Dose Lucky Sevens Sex Violence Space Symphony Spanish Rain Tomorrow Wedding Bells Wilderness Wondering Star There are many songs to make a new album! And as I said in other post, I guess it would not be risky to think that LP7 could be called like one of the songs in the list, Lucky Sevens. (I thought that it was Lucky Seven and that it was a song from the Viva era, but I was wrong)

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Yeah, me too! And a lot of people would also like to, I guess.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
So many people saying that LP7 will be Mylo Xyloto part two... I think it's gonna be Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends part two. Or maybe in a less probably way, X&Y part two... can you imagine that? Haters are gonna hate.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
How amazing is to play old Coldplay music... This weekend I listened to some old songs, like Cemeteries of London and The World Turned Upside Down. Lost! has also been stuck in my head for a while. Chinese Sleep Chant has been recently.

Where do you want Coldplay's sound to go?
If there's a band that I would like Coldplay to sound like in the next album/s, it would be definitely Interpol. But let's also say The National and Arcade Fire, that would be cool too.
-
Why do you love Ghost Stories?
I think it is the most artistic thing they have done alongside Viva la Vida or Death and all His Friends. And in a good way, not like MX, although there are 7 or 8 songs that I like from that era.
-
Criticisms with the album?
Yes, I expected at least one song full of rage.
-
Criticisms with the album?
Maybe not having more Apple singing in the album. I was wondering if in the next album, in case they have a duet, they should have Apple featuring a song instead of a recognized singer.

Jon Hopkins Remix
In Wikipedia is listed as a bonus track of the Japanese edition.
-
How does Midnight fit in Ghost Stories?
It fits in the album because it is supposed to be the "colour" song!

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
This could seem out of topic, but seeing this thread and the number 7 in it, just made me remember something... Any of you remember a song called Lucky Seven? I think it was written on a board from the Viva era, but it was discarded alongside with other titles. I guess it would not be risky to think that LP7 could be called like that, for me it sounds cool!

Next singles
Which ones do you think will be picked? I bet that Ink and True Love. Or at least one of them. Ink would be very cool for a summer/autumn release!
