So they do this on Pitchfork a lot. Pretty much all you gotta do is say what you were listening to at age 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. Guess we could end by saying what we're listening to at the moment. I'll start 5: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, The Clancy Brothers, stuff we had on cassette mostly 10: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, and all manner of British Invasion bands, Bob Dylan 15: Coldplay, Oasis, The Doors, The Who, Arctic Monkeys, The Clash Now: Listening to a lot of britpop era stuff like Blur and The Verve, and a lot of mod revival and 80s/90s rock (Stone Roses, The Cure, Psychedelic Furs) and dancable rock (Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand style)
  5. Yellow was filmed on a beach 25 cent coin machines
  6. Ooh, I didn't know about this! I'd love to get this too, if at all possible!:D

  8. Ah yes. I've been trying to write a rock opera for like 3 years, but I'm never satisfied with the results and stop recording half way through a song.
  9. What's your ideal album?
  10. That's a shame, but we'll always have his legacy. RIP

  12. I wonder if mighty putty even works. IT CAN PULL AN 18 WHEELER!!!! Yeah, I'll bet...
  13. You never respected the enchanted forest!
  14. When my hair is short it curls up a little at the ends and looks like a 70s kid who films super 8 films in his back yard.
  15. Yeah, not all the editors got special names for some reason. I guess it's only for the cool kids:phu:
  16. Hate it with a passion unbenounced since the days of Rome Sq
  17. mrk, Maybe you're me in an alternate dimension! I'm secretly tempted to get a pompadour. Too much Arctic Monkeys for me....
  18. I'm just staying home. I am getting a hair cut tommarrow though. Not looking forward to that. My hair is like a year long and even if I tell them not to cut it to short, I know they probally will anyways:( It's abbey road era John Lennon length at least.
  19. When in the world is "Songs of Ascent" coming out! It's probally not even called that anymore. I'm getting restless... Also, just saw Killing Bono. I thought it was really good.:)
  20. Killing Bono 9/10 This movie was really cool. They actually used U2 music (not all the time, but it was there), it was based on a true story, and they even had someone playing Paul McGuiness. While it was a rockumentary, it kept in theme with every other Irish movie in the sense that it was utterly tragic at points. I won't spoil anything but it was also about brotherhood, and the actors were very good. I recommend it to any U2 fan. Warning though, there are at least two...dirty scenes.:stunned:
  21. This doesn't fit here but all you young indie punks may know what I'm talking about. There's this song I just heard and the lyrics were something like "momma's gonna take care of you" or something. I think it was a girl singing and it was very atherical. What was this song? Does anyone happen to know?
