Hahaha what a dumb article, really really dumb. Articles like that reinforces the posers hipsters "fans" to continues to act like they are above the world because they listen indie/alt music and hate all things pop while pretend how cool and intelligent they are because they don't like certain things the majority like. But for me is just a big waste of time and a superficial way of being.

Chris Martin only use the same 3 shirts and the same hat for 4 years. How dare you call him a sellout? LOL Anyway it's ok if you don't like them the way you used to. It's ok share your criticisms and your opinions and point of views just understand some people will agree with you and some will not. I'm telling this for the all sides. Opinion is not a LAW. Opinion is not the unquestionable truth. Everyone have one. I have mine. Chris Martin have his. You have your. Opinions changes. So opinions are not unquestionable truths. It's not personal attack to you if he or her disagree with your. It's just opinions, not thuth. Maybe your thuth, but not the truth for everyone. And it doesn't need to be.

For me it was awkward than I expected. The rush through the songs trying to blend the hits together was poorly executed. I would prefer if they played only AOL w/Yellow intro and them Up&Up later. Fix You meshed with Up&Up was bad too and rushed to fit the time slot. Positive points: Yellow intro and camera work was EPIC. Awesome stage and special effects. If that was a tease for the upcoming tour we should expect for bigger things than the MX tour. They felt really happy to be performing at Super Bowl.

Sadly I think no Politk (my favorite from them),they have too much pop songs right now to fill the setlist :bigcry: . I think there is very little room for their rockier phase. They are too popular with the catchy pop songs right now. So I will be very surprised if they play songs like Violet Hill, Politk, Talk, Square One etc.. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, maybe, but just because they usually play it a lot and it was a single from one of their albums. I hope I'm wrong:guitarist:

I don't think they are done for good, but I expect a major gap between this album and the possibly next one. Will be their largest gap between one album to another. I think they're too big to be done after only 7 albums. I expect at least two more albums.But I expect the AHFOD world tour being their last huge tour around the world. They will probably want to spend more time with their families and children after this. My prediction is: Chris will collaborate with another artists producing and continue to writing songs for them, Guy, Jonny and Will dedicating time to theirs side projects too.

Premium branca too:). It was really easy to buy with Tidal pre-sale. I heard the tickets from Tidal already sold out as I expected.

One of the best bands to watch live! They REALLY SHINE live. That's why the majority of their songs sounds so much better live. When I listened to Clocks being so closed to the stage was like I was listening this song for the first time in my life. It was so EPIC like I was living in another dimension. And I was luck enough to hear them play what probably is my favorite song from them: Politik! I really hope everyone of you get the chance to be in one of their concerts. Even if you don't like much of their newer stuff you will not leave the experience disappointed. They are one of the few bands out there that truly worth any sacrifices you have to take to see them live, and I not saying that because I'm one of their fans. So if you have any opportunity to see their concert, don't think twice and grab it with both hands. Really hope you all get that opportunity with the AHFOD tour.

Tove Lo and Chris vocals meshed very well together. Really like this. The vocals fit different than the collaboration with Beyonce and Rihanna.

Chris and Will definitely delivered all they got with the vocals in this song. One of the top songs of the album for me.

Low Points : X Marks The Spot, Everglow (they already done THOUSANDS of songs like this, nothing new here) Hymn For The Weekend being on a Coldplay album, the way Bird ends. Overall I think it's their best album since Viva because even the worst songs of it are better than the worst and so-so songs from Ghost Stories and Mylo Xyloto. It's their poppiest album to date, there is nothing straight rock in here like Major Minus in MX or Ghost Story in GS. But it have one of their best songs to date like Bird (very Strokes,U2 like) and Up&Up which are pretty epic. One of their best openers with a AHFOD. I really like it. The best songs from this album compensate the worst on it. 1 - A Rush Of Blood To The Head 2- X&Y 3 - Viva La Vida or Death and All his friends 4 - Parachutes 5 - A Head Full Of Dreams 6 - Mylo Xyloto 7 - Ghost Stories

It's cool but as someone said in this topic the background thing is a little annoying. Maybe I will like it more when a hear the live version. It's decent and way better than somethings they done in Ghost Stories and Mylo Xyloto.

Better than Princess Of China, it's catchy and fun but not much of my cup of tea. I must admit I was expecting something worst and the worst part of AHFOD. It's Ok for me but I predict this being the one of the most played songs on radio and parties of 2016 and going MASSIVE.

Awesome! Apes related stuff are my guilty pleasure, that's why I am a big Planet of Apes (all the movies) fan hahaha. The CGI is decent, not amazing like the recent Planet of Apes films, but is decent. It's better than all the video singles from the Ghost Stories era (True Love is embarrassing and Magic is just meh). I have to say, I really like this, it's funny and fits the mood of the song that I really like too.

Well said, Batman.;) I've been here for a while although I don't post to much (my English is awful and laughable) but I personally thinks this place is awesome and I really enjoy see the others opinions about a song even If I don't agreed with them. It's fun. It's fun to read healthy discussions too. This community is great I really think Coldplay have one of the best "fan bases".
