  1. LP6

James. replied to princesanji's topic in Ghost Stories (2014)
I want LP6 to have lots of words and music.
  2. European and UK crowds are a lot more energetic than US crowds apparently, so that's probably why there's not as much moshing at US gigs. I don't have much experience in the matter, but from videos and other people's stories I think it's pretty likely that there will be some mosh pits at the stadium gigs. Like Corkus said, they are pretty easy to avoid if you don't want to get caught up in one. This might have some helpful advice, Molly: http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=69344
  3. I've been struggling to make a perfect U2 setlist for a while now, as their back catalogue is so full of classic songs it's just impossible to fit them all into a reasonable length setlist. So I came up with the idea to make two setlists for the two different 'eras' of U2's career. I'd like to know what people think of these? 1980-1990 U2: 1991-2009 U2:
  4. U2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb Much better album than people make it out to be.
  5. Urgh, we read that in GCSE English. Along with Great Expectations  At least they also had us read Of Mice And Men, which was great.
  6. This is actually pretty cool  Keep it up!
  7. I've recently been really liking the song Zooropa. It's a shame they never played it in full on the Zoo TV tour (They only played half of it at 3 concerts). I think it would have been a great Mr MacPhisto song. The 360 tour version is amazing though!
  8. I think the same could be said about most of his posts :uhoh:
  9. LP6

Do we really need a separate thread for this?
  10. Once I lost all my wash things (toothbrush, soap, flannel etc.) and my retainers on the bus on the way to a local music festival :(
  11. I wish I could go, that lineup is stunning!
  12. Never heard of them :surprised:
  13. Jack Shepherd (from Lost)
  14. LP6

"We are working on something" could mean LP6... but then again it could just mean they are redecorating the Bakery or something. :P
  15. Really? I've never heard that! :surprised: I was thinking Mercury award, but winning a Brit or a Grammy would still be cool (even though they are a bit less meaningful these days). I like to think of NME awards as sort of joke awards, so winning one of those would be something to laugh about at least.
  16. It's not just Coldplay. Loads of bands nowadays are giving up on B-sides. We should consider ourselves lucky to have got even one B-side (even though it should have been on the album) out of the whole MX era. While it would be great if they did release more B-sides, they obviously have their reasons why they didn't, and we should respect that.
  17. This is the funniest thing I've read in ages :laugh3: Anyway I haven't seen many bands live, but Blur are amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing Muse and Biffy Clyro this year, those are both excellent live bands. I also want to see Radiohead and U2 before it's too late.
  18. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC4GvHzZbhg]Damon Announced New Album in Hong Kong! - YouTube[/ame] Damon said they are going to record a new record in Hong Kong :wtf: I have no idea what to make of this :laugh3:
  19. LP6

James. replied to princesanji's topic in Ghost Stories (2014)
    It is probably Car Kids.
  20. It definitely looks like they just said to him "OK Thom, you can be on our show but you have to play us a Radiohead song too." If he had to play a Radiohead song, he could have gone with Videotape or something, but most of the audience probably wouldn't have heard of it
  21. :uhoh: I think there might be one or two left, let me check...
  22. In my backyard, tomorrow. Tickets are already sold out, sorry :\
