I'm quite curious (not that I really need to know) about what it's like to take drugs. I never have done but I'd be willing to try it as long as I knew it was safe. I've often heard that listening to music while on drugs is a different experience to just listening to it normally. What's that all about?

I basically agree with everything said in this thread. :nod: It makes me sick to see girls going around with fake tan and make-up plastered on just because they think it makes them look more attractive, when in reality it just makes them look horrid. Because then you get girls saying "I wish I was more attractive, must go and buy makeup and fake tan so I can look like X!" who are actually perfectly good looking to begin with. :(

I remember once when I was young I had a dream where I was being hunted by Captain Hook, and I was terrified of him (I was never scared of him in real life though). Just as he was about to get me I was like "The joke's on you Hook, this is just a dream!" and he went away :laugh3:

The other night I was having a weird dream (it was really complicated and I can't be bothered to describe it all) but in the middle of it I decided to count my fingers (like you're supposed to if you want to lucid dream). But instead of realising I was dreaming, I thought "5 fingers. That can't be right. I'm dreaming, so I'm supposed to have the wrong number of fingers. :thinking:" Then I looked away and and counted again and I had 6 fingers. Then I just carried on dreaming as normal. :facepalm:

I know having a different setlist every show is a good thing. That is why bands like Radiohead are so great. What I meant was that they have been playing such average setlists recently (very few OOS songs, dropping Animals etc.) and then all of a sudden out of nowhere they play a very different, and much better, setlist. I've got nothing against them mixing things up a bit, but when the setlist is that different it's just unfair on everyone else. i.e. They should keep things consistently good by constantly playing old songs like Dead Star/Plug In Baby rather than just randomly playing them when they feel like it. (or when a fan-requested song actually gets played)

Christa, are you going to the first or second night at MSG? If you are going to the second night then you'll probably get a few oldies. For some reason they seem to only play the good old stuff at second nights!

Wow, just as the NA tour was starting to look like shit, they turn around and pull THAT out of the bag. Dead Star (with a Yes Please riff apparently), Plug In Baby, Animals and Dracula Mountain (a cover they haven't done since 2005) all returning on the same setlist. And to top it all off, they dropped Resistance (one of their most boring songs). Ever heard of something called consistency, Muse? :dozey:

This could have been so great live. Imagine if they had left for a while after ETIAW and then Chris came back on and played the first half solo on the piano (maybe back on the C-Stage). Then the other band members would come back on for the second half of the song with them all standing together with just acoustic guitars kind of like how they played Don Quixote on the Viva tour. Perfect way to end a concert.

Agreed. I personally think T2L was a big improvement over The Resistance, but we are here to discuss Coldplay's LP6, not Muse's. :nod: I wonder if Chris tweeting about those songs means that he is indeed listening to that stuff for inspiration for LP6... I can't really imagine Coldplay doing anything similar to any of that stuff :stunned:

Yeah, I don't see how Muse "Fucked up" The 2nd Law with dupstep. There are like 2 songs (maybe 3 at a stretch) on that album that contain/are influenced by dubstep.
