What is the most underrated Coldplay song to date? i just want to see if theres one song in particular that a number of people will choose or if theres a whole bunch of answers. IMO amsterdam is there most underrated song, they should play it at shows nore often.

Round 1: Life In Technicolor Round 2: Hurts Like Heaven Round 3: Cemetaries of London Round 4: Major Minus Round 5: Viva La Vida (but id probably pick HLH over viva) Round 6: ETIAW Round 7: Princess of China Round 8: 42 (very close) Round 9: Us Against the World Round 10: U.F.O. Round 11: DLIBYH (I love both of these songs so much but CSC is too short but love the guitar) Round 12: The escapist Round 13: Death and All of His Friends ( another close one) MX:7 Viva:6 Its hard to compare these two because MX is all one story and VLV is like a bunch of short stories around a similar theme, so for MX the sum of its parts does not equal the whole album. Ive listened though like 36 times as a whole but major minus has like 90 (Ive had it longer and its magical)

chris martin said that you dont know were music comes from it just flows through your fingers and toes, and he thought wouldnt it be cool if we had intruments for digits (fingers and toes) like xylotoes. the interviewer wrote that he shook his head in frustration that he let that up so easily. Chris also said mylo is just a great name for anything. So they made up a word.

There is no big single on this album its a concept album and is suppose to be one cohesive album so the whole album itself is likethe "hit" in an interview chris said they wanted to make an album that you have to listen to all the way through to get the story and he admitted making a CD like this is like making a really nice horse and buggy in the time were automobles were more used and more popular. According to itunes the most poopular is PoC, of course. I'm guessing all the songs with interludes precedingit will be singles otherwise they just include those with intro of the songs, unless they just really wanted to use those song titles: mylo xyloto, MMIX and A Hopeful transmission are pretty badass names

All love them all and its a close call 1. Viva La Vida 2. Mylo Xyloto 3. A Rush of Blood to the Head 4. Parachutes 5. X&Y Mylo notches AROBTTH cuz I love the cohesiveness of mylo but I know AROBTTH is the best coldplay album its practically fact, but viva is my favorite

The leak has been tieing me over till i get the CD on tuesday. I think it will be the first CD I'm going to buy since Hybrid Theory

MX/Hurts Lik Heaven-10/10 Paradise-7/10 Charlie Brown-9/10 Us Against the World-10/10 MMIX/ETIAW-9/10 Major Minus-9/10 UFO-9/10 Princess of China-9/10 Up In Flames-8/10 AHT/DLIBYH-11/10 Up with the Birds-10/10 There's not one bad song on the album IMO. The transitions are seemless and all the songs are beautiful. I'm sure in a few months my love for this album will die down a bit once I overplay it but I believe I will love this album always and forever.

You have to be satan if you dont even appriciate the beauty and artistry of this song, sums up the story in the most epic way possible

Album is over-produced and poppy but thats the point, its suppose to be a fun album. theres not a singular hit like Viva la vida, fix you, clocks or yellow but the album collectively is beautiful. I dont fret about all the over produced songs because I know they can play them live, both studio and live versions of the songs have there own magic to them which makes coldplay really good band. If you want the serious coldplay that makes strong emotional ties youll find it in AROBTTH and parachutes, they have already been there done that. Now they have albums on both ends of the spectrum for a wide range of people to enjoy. The only song Im still getting use to is paradise and to this day its the pnly coldplay song/single that I have critism for. that is my official review of this album. I gave it 10/10 because I cant give coldplay anything less than perfect, Im that addicted

I was gonna buy the CD next tuesday anyway but the leak will tied me over. Maybe in DLIBYH chris's vocals will be more prevelent because I love the song but can hardly hear the lyrics and maybe in UATW will's vocals will be more raw

I say I feel like the only one is bacause i keep reading all these negative reviews of the album, I guess its because most people who like are to busy actually enjoying it to write reviews

Theres a think on this site were can put your intials in the silver background of the album cover. I dont like the silver cover that much but I love the graffiti one

I feel like the only one who likes everyone of coldplays albums, listening to parachutes right now and still think its great. Mylo Xyloto is just fantastic really hope its not their last album. probably have to wait 4 or 5 years if they want to make a 6th one

respect your opinion but why does everyone have a problem with slow songs, there purpose is there so you slow down and think and provoke emotions and reflect. Why does everyone hate music that makes you think? is it too much work?

No no no wasnt saying its not emotional, well I mean people want coldplay to produce AROBTTH everytime and tehy convey there emotions differntly on each album so people think coldplay isnt producing emotional songs anymore like politik, amsterdam or a rush of blood to the head (song) but I think DLIBYH and UWTB are some of the most beautiful produced

Everytime I turn it on I have to stop what Im doing and vask in the glory that is Mylo Xyloto, cant turn it off till hear the end.
