You are right to have criticism, but i think you are being too shallow about it. It sounds great and perfectly produced and mixed. And it is a great radio friendly song. Maybe you hoped for this song to be more deep and dramatic, but it was something poppy and uplifting instead. There is difference between criticising song because it turned out something else than you had hoped and criticising song just as it turned out. At at the moment for me this song and how it turned out, sounds perfect. Exactly what i needed to hear at the moment this time of the year. I agree with you, we need to hear something more complex and maybe alternative by Coldplay, but right now we should love this song. And always you need to consider that artists can not write music against their will. Songs sound only good when they arrive and evolve naturally. If it's something done by raw force, it doesn't sound good and I guess that's what they are trying to say about X&Y era in someway.

I agree 100%. The production is really smart and clear. We can hear all the instruments playing in a perfect sound and perfectly mixed. That's Coldplay. Although their production has always been good, there have been weak songs by them. Really enjoy the rhytmic part of this song. Although it's electronic, it's awesome. And it is a pop song, but it's a f*cking perfect sounding pop song.

They should really open this show with "Miracles" today. It would be perfect, this song deserves it.

Without exaggerating. I think It's better than any song on Ghost Stories. I would call it "Magic" sounding as big as "A Sky Full of Stars"

Pfff, you guys think that they really go for these sugary sweet poppy songs again? :lol: I think it's obvious that they try out dark heavy metal this time, coming up on stage drunk, half naked and trashing their guitars and fighting. That's what they haven't tried yet, and it would be time for Jonny to take these lead vocals finally... I bet he has great screaming vocals. ;) Chris' piano will be burnt live on stage, no more piano... there will be just pure and raw guitar riffs. Haha, that was just an exaggeration, what I wanted to say is, that they sound really good while doing songs like Violet Hill, God Put A Smile, Major Minus, Clocks and Daylight (this version from 2011 is just awesome: [video=youtube;LMGrKnbydBM]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMGrKnbydBM ). And I think that Don't Let It Break Your Heart sounds really good in live, especially Jonny's guitar. I mean these songs show that they can really play some music on stage and there is no other bands who can compete with them in this kind of melodic rock, their writing of melodies is just so strong. So who knows what they actually might do, but I hope they understand that they actually are really good if they only want to play some real music on stage. I mean some electronic elements are really awesome, but songs CAN NOT rely on backing track. They were a soft rock band and now they are a Pop Act being fond of Rihanna and Avicii. I feel like it has been a long lasting joke by them. :lol: This joke will end at some point, I'm sure. Just my opinion.

Guys, is anyone else really waiting for the song? :) New week is coming, there is a chance they could perform it on BBC Radio 2 live on Monday or at the BBC Music Awards on Thursday. + Soundtrack as an album is released by some information on 12th December and other websites say on 15th. That means possibility of leak during the coming week as CDs are being delivered. ;) Although various radio stations have listed "Miracles" release date as 15th December in new singles list, I think we will definately be able to listen it during the coming week. ;) This comment made me very excited. Wouldn't an Oscar award in Best Original Song category be one of the highlights for Coldplay so far?
