Right? They're doing a very different marketing approach with this one. I wouldn't be surprised if they just released a song every few days... how they release the album could have to do with how much attention they take away from Adele.

From the artwork- it looks like the album will be about ...daydreaming and being a kid, etc..

Hey, thought I'd say hello again. This song has gotten me some attention due to a link on Youtube. A lot of positive feedback. As someone pointed out to me- the first minute ..makes you think the song is going to have ...sigur ros type vox and that turns people off. And I have noticed that the statistics show that most listeners on this site...give up on the song around that time. But this song is all about build up, I promise. So maybe the people that tried listening before...start at the one minute mark. :) And hope you guys like.

Honestly, I think it's your rock-based oldplayers that have a problem with songs like that. I love Another's Arms and I've played that song for so many people in my car with the bass just...knocking..and many people, who don't like anything Coldplay has ever done...has been like "WHo is this??" Haha. That's just damn fine song. And love the build up at the end.

I wish too. But for some reason...I seriously doubt it because of the vox effect. But...I would sooooo prefer that live than ASFOS, which is what I'm guessing will become the most played song from that era. I hope they at least do Magic...then any other song from GS- would be great with me.

It's just hard for me to see that occurring though. Look at the amount of tracks we've heard from MX and GS- you're talking 4 ...before each one was released, right? That's just how just about all artists do it since it gives them more control of how the music is released- than all the songs leaking beforehand.

I'm starting to think Coldplay did release that tracklisting just to see how we would react to Amazing Day being the closer. No, Chrissy poo. No.

Ok, I just don't like Amazing Day as an opener or closer. It's got similar production/sound as Always In My Head, which was a horrible opener to me. Neither are bad songs but they're sorta sleepy down-tempo songs. You either go all out like Death And All His Friends or you go the complete other way and do the ...Amsterdam/really sweet and minimalist close. But Amazing Day is in the middle. Just...no. And to the above poster- you can't copyright a song title. It's art. Legally, art... it can be anything.

Someone tell me what's going on!!!! I'm scared. I'm scared they'd end the album with Amazing Day!!!

Oh man, I really dig that last album with the pink exploding head. That would've been GREAT for A Head Full of Dreams.

And I've been watching the Ghost Stories Live blu-ray. I LOVE what they did with that. Intimate setting, lots of creative lights...like Guy's light-bass. The music is just so top notch. And the ending to Magic...when they bring the guitar back at the end...and Chris does a little vocal melody on top....oh god, so gooooood. I know I just can't stop saying it...but I loved that album so much. And I think I'm seriously going to love this new album. I think Coldplay fans have said ....worries, if you will, about Coldplay using so much different sounds... and not being minimalistic like their first couple of albums. And I remember hearing Chris talk about how they rediscovered how to be minimalists again...with Ghost Stories. Unfortunately, for a lot of listeners - Chris was in a dark place. But mix their new production chops/layering with feelings of optimism and ...feelings of rediscovering love...and believing in yourself. I think this album is going to be a powerful one. I really do. And damnit...just too excitedddfsddlj;lsdfas!!!

Am I the only one that thinks the single is dropping tomorrow? Now if Wed hits- I'll look just like an idiot..but isn't there something about Tues and music being released or something? And just...marketing wise- Coldplay posts a teaser...then I would imagine ...follow that up within 24 hours with ....something. Seems legit to me. And if the album is coming out Dec 4th- it'll leak at least a week before...so you're talking the end of Nov. So... Coldplay usually has a couple of singles out before albums drop....I'm guessing we'll get a single tom. That's my edumehcated guess, and I'm sticking to it.

Well, to me...Magic is still one of my all-time favorite singles by Coldplay. It's like...sad music you can bump to in your car. Love it. But I know one thing is for sure- I feel less pathetic for coming in here and posting like a kid who maybe...possibly ..might be getting candy in the sometime near future. Well, now this crackhead has a date with the candyman. That whole metaphor came out way creepier than intended.
