  2. I'm nousician, but think that's part of where the producers play a huge role with solo artists. But I'm interested in knowing more about this too.
  3. oh yeah! heard it was pretty brutal! and that the audience was great! happy to hear that.
  4. in the interview right before the live broadcast of the opening songs, chris hinted that there might be a guest they would love to have. oh! not bruce then.
  5. so chris hinted that there might be a guest for this show, one that the band would love to play with. wonder if it is bruce! they played jersey girl today.
  6. btw watched this yesterday and just look how much chris looks to will for even acknowledgement. it can be very subtle sometimes. but sometimes, not.
  7. nah.. it was on youtube. late november or early december in 2008. yellow. first or second concert in the UK leg for viva. on hindsight, i should have saved this.
  8. Dude! You are killing it with these analogies! Haha! Yeah I've watched the live recording of this and Chris seemed a little rattled. He went back to speak to will. They have a very "silly child and protective guardian" sort of relationship. It's pretty clear Chris looks to will for the most support in the general sense. Think musically, it's Jonny :) I love all their relationships. Every member plays a unique role and keeps each other in check. It's a beautiful thing that they are going strong 20 years on.
  9. I think it's something along the lines of "someone to look over me"

  12. Haha! It's just the cynic in me :) let's hope for a happy outcome.
  13. Not sure what this will be to the woman in question, endearing or stalkerish and creepy. Haha

  18. Coldplay want to serve the people Coldplay singer Chris Martin at Friends Arena on Sunday evening. Photo: Pontus Lundahl / TT Coldplay is on her first major tour in four years, but the band also looking forward to a break indefinitely. - We will pull us away for a while. Sometimes the audience needs to rest, says Chris Martin. The members of Coldplay's getting tired of talking about that BBC interview, Chris Martin did in December 2014. But they also realize that Martin's statement, it is about the album "A head full of dreams" was "as the last 'Harry Potter '-boken "would not go unnoticed. One and a half years later, signs seem to indicate that the disc and the current tour will be the last as the band's fans will see and hear in a while. - There was no official statement I made, it was just something I said in an interview, so this is my fault that it is broken nagging now. But it was true. "A head full of dreams" closes a circle for us. Right now I feel that everything I wanted to say has been said in our seven albums, says Chris Martin. - Our last two albums were recorded immediately after each other. We squeezed out of us our last creative drops. The thought of going into the studio again after this tour is not even worth thinking says guitarist Jonny Buckland. Coldplay's decision to lie low after touring the termination is not due to any sort of declining popularity. Each band go, so they filled the largest stadiums. So far, "A Head Full of Stars" tour seen by over a million people and eventually the band would emulate other great musical stars who aged with their audience. - We want to reach a point where we can be of service, where we can become part of the furniture in a good way - for people to come and settle on us when they want - or be like a good restaurant that people want to come back to . I think that's what Bruce Springsteen is doing. He provides a service to anyone who likes his music, Martin says. The band will shatter is therefore nothing that Coldplay fans have to worry about, not least because both Buckland and Martin say they "love to make music together." But there is also a goal they have not yet reached. - We still have not written the perfect pop song, which is annoying. But we have made no attempt, says Chris Martin. Is the perfect pop songs? - The other day I was listening to the Bee Gees' Stayin 'Alive'. It is perfect. "Dancing Queen" by Abba, where you also have a perfect song says Martin. original

  21. what does that mean? tried searching for it, and don't think this is positive?
  22. so finally got to watch the whole thing. what a fantastically bonkers show! now this is the message of ahfod! how it's being translated live is just incredibly human and captivating! what coldplay failed to do at the super bowl, they did at glasto with just so much more! there were a few disjointed sections that throws the audience off, but in such a - bring you back to a completely different dimension way - that you just get caught up in it. coming from a not too big a fan of the recent material, all i can say is, no matter what we may think of coldplay as songwriters right now, they are masters live. and these songs fit in like pb&j with a huge audience. and how incredibly different is this show to the rest of the glasto headlines from coldplay! they always cater to their audience there. i was sure the same would happen this time. but they just went and played mostly the same set from the tour, just with a couple of special guest additions! and people (and critics!) loving it?! haven't seen this much recognition for the band in a long time! and have to say, wonderful to see will getting the spotlight releasing the mighty drummer wilder beast on the paradise remix! have to say, don't think this is one of the best technically played gigs by the band. but as a headliner closing out the festival at volatile times, this is pretty hard to top!
