Name and Likeness has been registered a while back. not sure how we missed it. amazing day is definitely newly registered. amazing day - 889512006 name and likeness - 886702352 it was registered around the time (just before) GS songs were. eg: ASFOS - 886863442 AIMH - 886921490 but after MX and atlas (2013). eg: atlas - 885836924 so looks like it has been registered for more than a year at ASCAP and we missed it somehow. probably not lp7 related. edit: actually name and likeness was registered with GS songs. magic - 886551012

there is a bigger impact when you release the MV directly instead of just the audio. look at midnight or even adele's latest single. you can generate hype about the video as much as about the song itself. specially when you are making a sort of come back after a very low key (by coldplay standards) era.

i like the theory of the video filmed in india being in VR. explains why the video was shot a while ago and still no word on even a release date. hope that's true.

oh! i have a google cardboard. have to try this if i get the chance. wonder how lagging it would be in real time.

ok, new, forgotten topic, since the thread is going round and round. anyone remember this? x now that there is a chance that merry clayton will be featured, anyone think there is a fair chance that sza will be too? we quickly forgot about her and her studio session with chris during early GS.

i'm sure all those profit making ways matter, but the big money for a huge touring artist is in touring. they made $192.5 million in the mylo tour. i would think this would be more than considerable percentage of the total profits from the mylo era. edit: according to this, they only made $20 million from album sales in 2011. not sure how accurate that is though.

so adele is back! [video=youtube;YQHsXMglC9A] after 2 listens, it's still in my head. it's good. but i was thinking how adele hasn't evolved much musically and still get people going crazy over her songs. not just the general listener, but the critics too. it must have something to do with her voice, her quality singing and the universal theme in her songs. edit: hahaa!

am i the only one that is not that frustrated by the lack of direct info from the band? after the august hype and then the iheartradio and global citizen hype, it is clear that this era it's going to officially start a little differently. just enjoy the pre-release excitement when anything is possible ;)

i think it is a safe bet that adele will be number one for multiple weeks once it's released. and no matter whether the band is invested in album sales/charts, the money making machine that is their label definitely is. and it's in the best interests of all labels to share release information among them in order to maximize profits through their biggest artists' releases. so even though the adele release date is news to us, i'm sure warner bros were aware and have taken all kinds of details into account regarding the release and the promotion of the coldplay album. so don't worry, things must be planned months ahead. it will happen according to plan, unless the band wants to delay the release for whatever (mostly creative) reasons.

the reason why this press release from her team came out yesterday is because of this. just do a google search. really, it's not that difficult ;) x eidt: so there you go. articles from the rolling stone and nyt, just without the whole text from her press release, hence missing the coldplay details.

fantastic find! this is very promising! since this is coming from her agent, i'd wager this is true. she has an incredibly powerful voice. if coldplay do a song to match her voice, fantastic! or wonder if it is like the work featured on GS from other female singers. in the background. hopefully not. edit- (as sad as it is) the accident story is true. so this is real news for ones!
