Hooray! That's very cool. Yay for good cats :D. I love the picture, they all look so cute (and I bet can be quite the feisty things sometimes as well !). How very analytical :laugh3:! I didn't even notice that, but now you're making me want to go back and, um, look closer. Or something. Yeah. (The idea of one side of his face being bigger than the other gives me some funny mental images now) Oh, how you love your job so, Row! You're just glowing about it each time you're getting ready to leave! Heh. Good luck, as always, hope all is well!

You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...
Hooray! I'm glad! Yeah. I was cracking up pretty good over that. Of all the people to join in, eh? (...now I REALLY want to hear Coldplay themselves do that song. Am I alone in this thought?) There ya go, then, that works :). Have you got your safekeeping place for your tickets set for when they do come? And that staring back at you from the fridge each day can't possibly add to your growing excitement at all, can it ?

Random Coldplay thoughts...
I want that room. (Only, why is just half of it all decked out? :p) This performance really made me smile. I wish I'd been at that show, it looks like it would've been FUN! Really enjoyed that, along with the other videos here (them doing "Everybody Hurts"-ahhhhh, love it). Also, anacaren08, your story is VERY cool. That's awesome that they did that and mentioned you and everything! Way to go! And note to self: try and find Tracie on FB and check out her songs.

Coldplay - Cake Club Video Of The Week
I had no problems with the accents, but yeah, for those who may not speak English as their first language and such, it could be a bit difficult, no question. That picspam-ohhhhhhhhhhh, lovely, lovely shots there (I too liked the coldplaying.com sign :D! Whee!). Definitely got some of the best moments from that interview. I thought the exact same thing! Nor did I. That's pretty cool. I also like the story about Phil putting out his own money to help them out early on-now I understand the backstory Q magazine was referring to in their latest issue where they talk to the band after their gig at that little club they once played at. And the stuff said about bands starting in school makes me think-that seems to be a very common thing with many of the bands I like. They all started out in high school/college (or even a bit before that). Or if not that, they've at least been friends/worked together for a few years prior to starting their current bands. And surprise, surprise, they're all generally still together or, if they've broken up, they've done so on good terms and still remain friendly. I also liked the bit about the band dividing things up equally. I don't understand why some bands don't do that more-that lady made reference to how singer/songwriters would assume since they wrote the songs they should get more money, but then I'd argue, well, if they think that, why have a band at all? Why not just go be a solo artist, then? If one is going to form a band, it seems crazy to not want to split things equally. Yes, one person may write the songs, but if they're meant for a band, without all the other members' input it'll just be words and notes on a piece of paper. So I'm always happy when I hear about a band being fair in its dealings, and I like that Coldplay followed that method. Amen to that! Now I'll spoiler my specific bits I wanted to note: Oh, and one more thing-that repetitive drumming that kept going on in the background music at points-did that give anyone else a bit of a headache after a while or was it just me :p?

Whoa. Those first two photos. Hi, Chris! (Lovely, lovely close-ups there. Oh, yeah) So I'm not at all jealous of you right now :p. Seriously, that's incredibly cool! Lucky you! Loved the video you shared, wabbit. "42" is such a great song.

You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...
I'll be VERY dilligent with my ticket to my show. It's going to be so protected one wouldn't be surprised to see a forcefield and tape or whatnot around it . You know you're addicted when you see this clip online: http://thenjunderground.com/blog/2012/3/3/video-bruce-springsteen-neil-young-jimmy-fallon-cover-lmfaos.html and a certain video and singer immediately pop into your head :D. (I hope this can work for people outside the U.S., if not, hopefully someone can figure out how to work it so it shows up, 'cause it really is quite funny)

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Funny, I never heard "Venus" OR "penis" in "Space Dementia" :laugh3:! That'll likely change now the next time I listen to that song :p. That truly made me laugh out loud. As did that YouTube video. I got the lyrics to "Micro Cuts" offline somewhere once and have read them and all that, but I'll be damned if I can ever remember to sing the correct words whenever I listen to that song. Matt's voice is too freaking distracting! (And I don't even try to hit the notes he does. I just sing in my regular register and only go as high as I'm physically allowed to without killing my throat) I like the clip of them miming to "Uprising", too. Matt looks like he's just having a blast on the drums :D.

I like the kitty, Row :D! jeremyy, hey, that sounds really cool! Good luck, let us know the official results! LOL, awwwwwwwww...poor Chris! Here's my question: What the hell was wrong with women up to that point? I would've totally gone for someone like Chris. He's got the sort of personality I tend to go for-I like the nice, sweet guys. *Makes GUH noise at the thought* Hell, as stated earlier, he doesn't even have to speak. All he'd have to do is look at me like this *Thumbs over to the look on his face in her avatar picture* and that'd be enough for me. I have been so much in love with that video lately you don't even know. Seriously, it truly thrills me to no end to hear him singing on that song . And here I thought I was getting over my recent fever.... HELLO. Looks like there are some videos in here I'll need to watch! (Also, the 2003 concert DVD I ordered arrived yesterday ! I haven't watched it yet, 'cause I spent a good part of yesterday sleeping (Nyquil can knock you out pretty good), but I will do so tonight/tomorrow at some point! I also need to catch up on the Cake club video for this week, too!)

I KNOW! Just one week to go ! Cannot wait. So happy to have this show coming back. Now all we have to do is hope and cross fingers and pray and whatnot for a fourth season!

You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...
Hahahaha, oh, my god, YES, I've done that, too, with "Just Like Heaven"! I was wondering if I was the only one! ...I'd kinda like to hear Coldplay cover that song now, actually. This happens with my mom all the time, too. She'll hear a song, or at least THINK she heard a song, either by Coldplay, or by another band I like, somewhere, and she'll tell me about it. If she can remember lines, she'll write them down or try singing them, or she'll say, "It was an older/newer song, I think", and then like you I start rattling off song titles until we figure out what it is. I hope you're having a better day, too, by the way :). I know this feeling . *Looks at her location and tries to will it to change to something close to that area*

LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
LMAO, Tracie...oh, dear lord...! I also love the ones where Will makes his "I will end your life" face :laugh3:. Oh, THANK GOD to know that about the guys (Row, I wondered that on occasion, too!). But this Debs person? Er...yeah . Well said :D.

Coldplay 'Regret' Naming Album Mylo Xyloto
:laugh3: Well said, Chris. Lord, yes. Especially on the types of morning shows like the one the guys stopped in at. There's a reason I usually avoid watching GMA or "Today" (especially the last hour of that one-dear lord...) or whatnot unless somebody I like is to be on there. *Bangs head on desk over people's lack of humor*

Chris and Jonny
Well, watching back, Chris did seem to keep bumping into Jonny a lot when they were performing and playing their guitars...:p. Nice screencaps. So cute, they are. I fully understand and agree with this line of thinking . I like the way your mind works! I love watching them laugh together at the start of the video, when Chris is trying to work out the keyboard :). Didn't he just? Seriously. "Good morning" to this particular American, indeed.

LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
LMAO :D. No kidding. Seriously, these guys are so nice and polite and all that sort of inoffensive stuff, how have they managed to inspire such perviness amongst fans :p?

[4-Mar-2012] Coldplay @ Amnesty International Presents: The Secret Policeman's Ball, New York, NY, U
I REALLY wish I could watch this. It'll start when I'm at work :(. Heck, I'd kill to be at the gig itself-Coldplay's going to be there AND so are Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Argh. Lucky crowd.

LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
Ooh, hey, can I join in on that activity? (I may want to rephrase that a bit, 'cause now it sounds like I'm joining an orgy or something )

I bet! You got a small taste of that :D. And it's always just fun to see people out there who know and like them and sing along :).

Woohoo! That's very cool, Tracie! Yay for the crowd getting into the song.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Mixing Mylo Xyloto and X&Y together would be quite an interesting sound. The former is so upbeat and happy and bright and the latter is so dark and moody and sad. It'd be a real roller-coaster emotionally, but I'd love to hear what would result from such a meshing. It is kinda funny, but I tend to find it charming, because often they tend to say things like, "How you say..." while they're trying to find the right word or phrase that fits. How you feel about people learning French is often how I feel about people learning English, because our language can be kind of confusing, too-there's words that sound similar but are spelled differently, words that have multiple meanings, there's silent letters... I know some Spanish because I studied it in school. I can remember certain words, and if I were to look at a Spanish article I could pick out words I'm familiar with and try and get some slight gist of sorts of what the article is about. But even though I was good at it in school, I'm not at all fluent, and would definitely need a refresher course since it's been a few years since I took that class. And then I know the occasional word or phrase in German or French or such. Beyond that, though, my foreign language skills are pretty dead. Anywho...Chris speaking in French? Choppy or not, I don't care-that needs to happen a LOT more often . I love it when a man knows the "romantic" languages, so to speak (but I love it when a man can speak multiple languages in general, even if only the basics, because it gives him a "worldly" quality that I find quite attractive). And a foreign accent on a man is HOT. One of the things I love about Chris is listening to him speak in that charming, adorable British accent of his. I've got a total weakness for that. I hope you're feeling better, too, Blue Nails. I know it's frustrating and I know how it feels to want to respond back, I totally get that . But to heck with the haters (to put it politely). We here love them, and they have tons of fans the world over who get it :).

Yeah, about the Amnesty show tomorrow, I have one non-Coldplay related request: Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are going to be there, too, so if anyone is able to get clips/screencaps/what have you of those two men, as well as the obvious Coldplay stuff, I will truly be in debt to you and love you dearly for it. They have a link where you can watch that online, but it starts at a time when I unfortunately will still be at work. I'll try and catch what I can when I get home and hopefully won't have missed anything, but otherwise I'll have to wait for video or something. (I'd kind of freak in a happy way if Stephen Colbert had any sort of interaction with Coldplay again at this. That'd truly just make my day) :laugh3: That's cute! I like it! I LOVE your son's drawing, too. That's amazingly good. Clearly he's inherited your talents. Yes, yes, completely agreed with all of this! I LOVE interviews like this. They don't ask the same old questions so many other interviewers ask (album inspiration/title's meaning, talk of family, touring-I love hearing those things, but it's nice to change up the discussion a bit every now and again), they're so random and totally off the wall. It's fun when an interviewer just lets the conversation go wherever it wants to go. I know! I was actually sitting there clapping and cheering for him when he got a question right ! And I was trying to play along in my head as well! The interview REALLY cracks me up for the simple fact that I'm just trying to picture Chris watching Steven Segal movies. I don't know how well-known Steven is in other parts of the world, but for those who may not know, he's an action movie type of guy here whose movies are pretty much the exact same storyline and cheesy and dumb as all get out, and a while back he was on some goofy reality show and has become kind of a punchline and all that sort of thing. So the idea of Chris sitting there actually getting into a discussion about him and action movies in general just amuses me to absolutely no end. Yeah. I love how willing he was to play along, and the banter was great. And GOD, yes, he was so incredibly adorable. I love a man who can make me laugh, and he certainly can. I'm glad everyone else enjoyed that interview, too :). And I wanted some of that candy, too! They were making me hungry for it! *Sings along* "Turn innnnnnnnto something beautiful..." Oh, yeah. He certainly does :D. In every sense of the word  . Pretty much, yeah. Chris Martin=adorable. End of story. He did (but really, when doesn't he?). So funny indeed-again, love a good sense of humor  :). It would! I'd listen to it! I love that interview, too. My favorite part is when they start talking about "rooting" and Chris is like, "You think I don't know what you're talking about!" *Puts 911 (or whatever the equivalent is in other parts of the world) on speed dial-or, on second thought, tells hospital to just keep an ambulance permanently stationed here by the Chris thread...* THIS. IS. AWESOME! I love this so much you don't even know. I think Will looks kinda cute that way! And Guy looks just fine to me. And this NEEDS to be a movie. Seriously. I would totally pay to go see this.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Arrrrrrrrgh, if October is indeed the goal date for the album's release...I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG! I want to hear this now!
