If that Brit awards thing is broadcast and such, I'd like to see that, too. Hopefully it'll get put up online. It'd be cool if they did reunite to do an album together. Question is, will they come overseas to the U.S. for a tour?

I kid you not, this was my reasoning for liking the brontosaurus as a kid. Still my favorite dinosaur./coolstorybro '90s music rules. Cursed whippersnappers, too young to appreciate the good music...*Shakes cane, rants and mumbles incoherently* I have no idea who will be the next "biggest band". I'd suggest we quit looking for "the next" whatever and start actually appreciating bands for being themselves. And there is my contribution to this random thread. *Sits down in corner*

And the band, being the charitable lads they are, will see it and feel all bad and donate and... ...hey, that could bode well for you guys :D.

Wow. That is VERY cool. I'm guessing she's going to win "Favorite Teacher Ever" awards, huh :D? It's so funny that classical music lovers can be so against modern pop music (or rock or whatever)...do they know how many modern musicians are heavily influenced by, or at least fans of, classical music? There's quite a few out there. And they would've partied it up with the classical giants if they were alive in their day, for sure (that's probably one reason why so many rock bands like those guys!). Yeah, we'll put you in the adoption agency. You'll be taken care of, it won't be some weird "Oliver Twist" BS :p. (I have an image in my head now of ads full of Coldplay fans looking all sad, like in those commercials with kids who need help, and some narrator coming along pleading to sponsor a Coldplay fan or something :laugh3:). Hey, you gotta show off Chris's contortionist skills for the rest of us somehow. All in the name of good research. Or something.

Oh, definitely. Practice does make perfect. Someday when I have the money to afford an instrument I'll give it a shot, just for the hell of it :). Haha, looking back at that gif of Chris playing piano, it looked like he was playing along with a song that was just on TV :p.

Yeah, same here with the "didn't inherit" thing-my dad was a math whiz who could do problems in his head in, like, 5 seconds. Me? I'm still tryiing to make sure I got the names of the people in the math problem I'm trying to solve right before I write out every last part of the problem on paper :p. I'd love to play an instrument, too-I'd love to learn guitar or piano or violin. But just for fun, I wouldn't be good enough to make a career out of it. I like to draw, but there's people much better at it than me, like Comicforce. I don't know who all here knows about a cartoon from the late '80s/early '90s, "Beetlejuice" (based (loosely) off the movie), but I could always draw Lydia from that cartoon fairly well. My skills are more in writing stories and such. That is so incredibly cute.

I like that drawing, Comicforce. Hell of a lot better than anything I could ever hope to come up with. I think it looks fine :). I thought it was British. Dunno. But hey, I've got a copy of the article from that magazine-we just need to hook up our printer/scanner, but when we do, anyone who wants, I can scan the article and picture for them if they want. Guh. That's pretty much all I can say. Guh. That would be incredibly fun, crazy, and chaotic.

Hey, their affection for each other and Chris bending his body into weird poses onstage is just begging for people to turn to the dark side :D. Hm. Funny she teaches in the classical field, 'cause the notable composers of that music weren't exactly saints themselves. Ah, well. Maybe one day she'll come around, or at least be more okay with your music tastes.

Oh, yeah, I'd do that, too. Similar activities include turning on videos on TV while you're getting ready for work in the morning in the hopes they'll show the "Paradise" video even though you've seen it a trillion times already. Just something about music you like playing before you go to work that kinda wakes you up and pumps you up for the day, though. Awwwwww. I can't see why religious people wouldn't appreciate the band, though, they're generally pretty clean musically and everything. Men singing falsetto...I have a really weird habit of liking bands whose male singers can hit much higher notes than I could ever hope to hit :p. I know it weirds some people out, men singing that high, but apparently it doesn't seem to bother me much. I wouldn't say my mom's an expert on the band or anything, but she knows them enough to point out when they're on TV or playing or something. Haha. Hey, it might help bill-wise, but we live in kind of a small, crowded place. Seriously, you might make good friends, at least. I bet you'd get on well with her. It's pretty hard for people to not get along with my mom.

*Blinks* ...what? Yeah, hate to break it to you, but starvation won't end overnight. It'd be absolutely fantastic if it did, but it won't, and it's going to take a wee bit more than celebrities giving up all their luxuries for that to happen.
